"If you miss Taiwanese cuisine, come to taste and see! And if you've never tasted Taiwanese cuisine, you've definitely gone by. the couple who runs this place is the real deal and is from taichung on the west coast of Taiwan. as others have noted, offers are very authentic and generously served. We had the noodles with beef or noodles with beef (9.5 euros each), which were succulent and surprising. beef is spicy and scented, accompanied by vegetables and a really addictive broth that reminds us of the favorite restaurants we used to try in kaohsiung! We also had bubble tea (mangue for my boyfriend, original for me), which is called zenzoo. The taste is really great! a small bubble tea added to the main dish was 2.5 euros and a large to 5 euros. the location is convenient, close to several other Chinese and Vietnamese restaurants. There are also two Asian markets only two blocks north, making it a good combined journey. the location itself has tables for about two dozen people and was about deserted when we met it just before 2:00 on Wednesday afternoon. We were very happy to find this place and the owners were very nice. Note: they did not accept our American credit cards that had no pine code, so bring money if it is for you too."

It is a small restaurant/tea house, specializing in tea with Taiwanese beads and Taiwanese cuisine made home. To my surprise, it is the only restaurant in Lyon for sale of the popular Taiwanese pearl tea. They contain several flavoured pearl teas: original, jasmine, matcha, coffee, taro, melon, strawberry, mango and soy milk. For those who have already tasted the pearl tea in Taiwan, hong kong or China, they would find this great place: there are so many choices and the flavor is so authentic. The choices of meals are good too: fried noodles with seafood, Rou-Zao rice, beef noodle soup, Taiwanese sausage with steam rice, nems, pop-corn chicken, fried balls and of course fries. My friends and...

"My wife and I dined here on a Saturday night (having made a reservation several days in advance), and it was one of the best dining experiences we have had in France in a long time. We reserved for the early seating, showed up on time, and were among the first customers there. We had a small table near the door. The disadvantage is that we were occasionally wafted by a cold draft from the front door. The bigger advantage was that we were sitting near the restaurant's beautiful, precision, hand-operated meat slicer. The specialty starter is beef that has been cured for seven months with seven spices. It is sliced paper thin (and that is no exaggeration) and served heaped on a plate. Heavenly. My wife and I ordered only one of these plates and it was more than ample for the two of us.That was followed by our starters. I ordered the minestrone marocain légèrement épicé comme à Tanger (Moroccan minestrone, lightly spiced as in Tangiers), and my wife the rillettes de crabe aux petits légumes et Granny Smith (shredded crab with little vegetables and pieces of Granny Smith apple). Both were delicious. For our main dishes I had a pavé de cerf (deer steak), which was ample and perfectly cooked. My wife had fish, also cooked to perfection. I don't recall the wine we ordered, but the choice was from wines that were at their peak (not just wines one or two years old), yet the prices were reasonable. One remark about the decore: it manages to be a bit traditional and modern at the same time, with reproductions of paintings by Modigliani and various early 20th-century (mainly French) artists adorning the wall.Overall, a restaurant worth going out of your way for."
