"We had a smaller job in the area of the Hofholzallee and decided to go to the area. Until this Greek restaurant it was only a few hundred meters that we laid back on foot. We arrived there a few minutes after the opening time at 17:00. The place was completely human, no one could see from the staff. So we chose a table and took place. Shortly afterwards the host came through the entrance door from the outside and was clearly surprised to see us there. However, he quickly faded, greeted us kindly and gave us the menus shortly afterwards. In the further course of the evening he was always friendly and attentive, also the intermediate question shortly after serving the food, whether everything is okay, was asked. Madame had already been very pleased with the Moussaka and was quite disappointed when the host told her that he did not have them available this day. After a new look into the map, she opted for “Kalamaris with rice, French fries, Tarama and garlic sauce and mixed salad” (12.80 € , in addition she ordered a still water (0.4l for 2,60 € . I had no desire on this day for any experiments and ordered the “Artemis plate, Gyros, Suzuki and Souwlaki” with French fries. After a relatively short waiting period, the host brought the salads as starters. The mixed salad to the Kalamaris was really nicely mixed, but the herb salad consisted only of white herb, which was really well placed, and as decoration an olive and a peperoni; the often common cucumber disc and quarter tomato did not exist here. Shortly after removing the salad plate, the host brought the main dishes. My mixed plate looked like expected, on the crook Gyros were the chop steak and the spit draped, along with the fries and rice. It wasn't too dry and not too lazy, so it was right. The fries hot and crispy, the meat with good grilled crust, the meat on the spit with strips of the contact grill, tender and juicy. The chop steak was also very good, nicely loose and with a clear garlic note. The Kalamari at Madame were clearly self-panned, probably with the coarse Asian panier flour, but were on the tip from the consistency. Even on the good side, they showed distinct tendencies to rubber rings, as they are often served in the simpler locals. Many plants are distributed here in the guest room, not only on the window benches, but also in other places in the room and around the vaults. Most of them are real, but they are clearly also artificial ones. The furniture is mostly in old German style in the popular wood type “Eiche rustikal”, in the background there are also a few more modern chairs. The tables were only covered with a medium blanket, on top were salt and pepper shakers, a small artificial flower and a tealight in the glass. The room was illuminated almost only by some wall lamps and tealights on the tables and window benches. Cleanliness The restaurant area was very clean, even plates, glasses and cutlery did not give rise to complaints. The toilet was not technically at the latest, but all the installations were functional and it was clean."

Wir waren von dem ausgezeichneten Preis-Leistungsverhältnis überrascht.Das Essen war lecker, die Bedienung aufmerksam und freundlich.Für den nächsten Besuch in Kiel haben wir uns das Restaurant vorgemerkt.

Dit restaurant heeft een normale kaart, niet te duur, en maakt het mogelijk om te kiezen voor rokers (kleine ruimte) en niet rokers. De snelheid van het bedienen is prima, al kan het tappen van een biertje lang duren.let wel op bij betalen: contant is hier de beste optie.

Wir waren dort zum Essen. Optimal weil es in der Nähe vom Ringhotel Birke liegt. Wir fanden das Essen sehr lecker. Authentische griechische Küche. Das Personal inkl. Chef waren sehr nett und freundlich. Wir hatten mehrere kleine Vorspeisen, Hauptgerichte.... Ouzo für gute Freunde, eine kleiner Gruß des Hauses und Nachtisch gab es umsonst. Der Service ist bemerkenswert. Das Fehlen bargeldlosen Zahlungsmittel macht der Betreiber mit seinem eigenen PKW wett. Kurzerhand zur nächsten Sparkasse gefahren und so dem schlechtem Wetter entgegnet. Das nenne ich Engagement und Gastfreundlichkeit. Alles andere war auch Ok. Das Essen schmackhaft, Portionsgröße angemessen und alke Zutaten frisch. Der Laden ist gemütlich und ja die ein oder andere Renovierung würde sicher mal Sinn machen. Aber alles Schritt für Schritt...
