Here is a reminder of Greece. Small cozy tavern in typical Greek style. Appetizer dish very delicious and the lamb chops as well as the wild potatoes a dream.

The food is very delicious. Definitely my Greek favorite place in Stuttgart. The owner Maria is very authentic and friendly. She does everything with love. Very recommended!!!

Very nice cook that prepares the food itself. The food tastes very authentic and is of high quality that you see and taste. Accordingly, it is somewhat elevated, which is justified by a lush tasty salad to many dishes. Clear recommendation.

I love Greek food, and for me this is the best Greek restaurant I ever been at (Mind that this is the one at Silberburgstrasse, as there are 2 more Greek restaurants in Stuttgart with the same name).Familiar and Mediterranean atmosphere, where you can eat traditional food, made by the cook/owner Maria and served by her husband Dimitri. Both are extremely friendly, kind and make you feel at home.The quality of the ingredients is unbelievably good and fresh. I definitely recommend it as a must-go-to in Stuttgart. Ver carta

At Maria you already feel like a regular guest if you are not yet. The Taverne Diogenes is a hospitable place with a warm host, to which you can always return. The foods and drinks are perhaps not at the same level as the stars, so you get heart-made home cooking that suits the ambience and is extremely fairly priced. The portions are large as one imagines them from grandmother I think so far no one should have gone hungry out of the tavern. Especially the fish foods are worth a try. We are always happy to be with Maria and are happy to have them in the neighborhood.

Unfortunately, diogenes tavern is the first time that tripadvisor has traveled to me for the first time. based on the other reviews I expected that I found a hidden gem. Instead I found a non-descript restaurant that was almost abandoned on a Thursday night at pm. that would have. my first note. I ordered the diogenes grill plate, and the meat was fat and lacked much in taste. the owner seemed to go through the movements. he wasn't exactly gruff, but he wasn't really friendly either. I went out as if I had eaten a darmbombe (and I mean in English meaning, not German). on the positive side the salat was good and the owner was very generous with the weeping. the price was also appropriate.
