"Nur ca. 200 vom Bodensee entfernt, und damit fußläufig gut zu erreichen. Der Innenbereich leider eher einfach, nüchtern eingerichtet , einige wenige indische Elemente lockern den ansonsten eher fast schmucklosen Raum auf. Da es ein warmer ,sonniger  Mittag war, genoss ich meine Mittagspause im Biergarten des Lokals, auch hier wenig indische Atmosphäre zu spüren, glich eher einem bürgerlichen Wein, Biergarten  wie es sie zuhauf landauf , landab zu finden gibt.  Tische und Stühle z. T. zusammengewürfelt also beim Ambiente konnte hier nicht gepunktet werden, da besteht noch Nachbesserungsbedarf . Neben exotischen Säften und Cocktail , gibt es hier Köstlichkeiten aus den vielen unterschiedlichen Küchen dieses riesigen Landes. z.B. Thaligerichte, diverse Curries, Tandoori, Meeresfrüchte und allerlei vegetarisches . Bestellte mir Mango Lassi fruchtig , toll und herrlich erfrischend und Tandoori Mix Teller mit marinierten, gut gewürztem  Hähnchenfilet, leckerem zartem Lamm in Joghurtsauce,  Garnelen mit Ingwer und reichlich Knoblauch prima, dazu Salat mit Mangosauce exotisch und äußerst lecker , 3 Saucendips Ingwer, grünes Curry und Nussknoblauchdip alle sehr gut , sowie reichlich luftig leichten Basmatireis. Der freundliche unaufdringliche Service taten das seinige dazu , das ich mich trotz des bescheidenen Ambiente recht wohl fühlte."

"La Oliva was (and maybe is) my favorite restaurant in Radofzell but to be honest i am a bit disappointed from the last time i visited it. We ordered fish (bream) and the fish was almost raw and... unpeeled! As i can remember last year i had ordered the same exactly fish 'bream' and was perfect cooked with pealed skin. Obsiously the chef of kitchen in the last visit was not the same and the food in general was not same good as the previous times... At least the atmosphere remained nice... Im sorry for this review but i had many expectations from this restaurant based on the past...."

"I have a fructose intolerance and wanted to leave the paprika, onions and garlic away at two, but it was nowhere because it seems that everything is done and you could not change it. then I wanted to order to my salate, because I found one more without paprika, even falafeln so that I am also fed up. then the chef said to me that the portion would be rich with the salate and in the falafeln would also be garlic in it. I didn't think that was nice and I wouldn't go to eat there anymore."

"the restaurant saffron and the associated concept, are the most beautiful symbiosis I have found so far in the gastronomy area. a very stylish ambiente, with an extremely high feel-good factor letting you stay there.The personal is extremely expert, attentive and very friendly and open-minded. the atmosphere is warm and the food is warm. the foods are rich in ideas, fresh, regional and very tasty.All the foods were selected from good organic quality, were also presented for the eye and have tasted us excellent. the food moved to the highest level - everything was right. fresh and taste read no wish open. the dessertvariation is a simple rag.Every dish is a separate culinary surprise. the saffron has a great varied day map. Everyone finds something here. the way to the restaurant saffron is worth if you want to do yourself, its guests or both in combination something good. Eat that makes happy, who makes even more happy and a hospitable that lets you come back. a nice conversation with the very charming owner, so we could still personally leave a compliment to the special kitchen and the sevice there. great atmosphere, perfect price/performance ratio, seasonal specialties, always a new surprise on the map .... under the dash: super! we're coming back!"

"Da ich gerade mit meinem Mann am Bodensee Urlaub mache, haben wir auch einen mehrtägigen Stop in Radolfzell eingelegt. Da mein Mann und ich gerne Steak essen, sind wir also in der wunderschönen Radolfzeller Altstadt in das Steakhouse Porterhouse gegangen. Die Kellnerin war super freundlich und sehr aufmerksam. Wir haben uns eine Flasche Rotwein von dem lokalen Winzer Rebholz bestellt. Ich entschied mich für ein kleines Filet mit Speckbohnen und mein mann hatte das amerikanische Flatiron mit Bratkartoffeln. Da das Restaurant sehr voll war dauerte es gut 40 Minuten bis unser Essen kam. Ein kleiner Brotkorb mit leckerer Butter kam zum überbrücken als Gruß aus der Küche. Mit den Speisen und dem Wein waren wir sehr zufrieden. Trotz längerer Wartezeit hat sich ein Besuch im Porterhouse für uns gelohnt."
