Tea By The Quay - Carta

The breakfast here is absolutely amazing! The eggs were boiled to perfection, making this our new favorite café. I especially love that they serve loose leaf tea; it brought back so many beautiful memories from my childhood. Plus, their tea selection is a real winner!

Whilst visiting Teignmouth last week, we popped into this cosy tea room. The owner and staff were very friendly, pleasant and attentive. The service was excellent and the food was of very good quality. We will be returning and would definitely recommend a visit. I had a truly delightful afternoon tea experience. The cakes and cream tea were outstanding. The staff was incredibly friendly, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere while maintaining a professional demeanor. The price per person was quite reasonable, ranging from £10 to £20. I would rate the food, service, and atmosphere all at a perfect 5. I highly recommend the Coffee Cake and Scones!

I visited this place while I was in the area and enjoyed a delightful cream tea for two served in a china teapot. It had a traditional vibe without being outdated or overly fancy. The scones were warm, accompanied by a generous amount of cream and jam. The woman who served us was welcoming and friendly. I highly recommend this spot and will return when I'm back in the area. Cokes very very expensive....2 glasses of coke 5£ .....very very expensive...nice staff..nice place to sit outside..but please look at the prices of coke.....12 cans in Morrison's for 4pounds 50 pence......just a bit of advice ..lower the price and you'll sell more...250%profit is nice but to pricey for me...had 2 cokes in the pub next door and it was 3pounds 75 pence...fair price.... During our visit to Teignmouth in Devon, we stumbled upon this charming little café for a bite to eat and a drink. The staff was warm and welcoming, and the service was excellent; our order arrived quite quickly. I had a delicious sandwich with cheese, while my companion enjoyed a cheese and tomato dish, both served with salad and coleslaw. We washed it all down with a lovely cup of tea, making for a very enjoyable experience. I highly recommend this place if you're in the area!

I was looking for somewhere to take my daughter for a cream tea, whilst on holiday. Was hoping to find a sweet, traditional style cafe as I think a cream tea deserves such a setting. We stumbled across Tea by the Quay and it was everything I was hoping for. We were waited on by a friendly waitress. The tea was served in a lovely old fashioned tea pot.
