Thai Dream - Carta

I really enjoyed the Thai Dream, the food was delicious and plentiful.

Booked late dinner for 10pm and told on arrival they did not have my booking and were about to close. Very disappointing!

Food was nice. Minor problems with order, but very quickly resolved. Not the nicest of decors, but could have been worse. Definitely would recommend if looking for a cheap eat. Ver carta

Food was good, Thai wine was nice, fact manager had no record of our booking was annoying but quickly remedied. Great value for money, perfect for a catch up dinner with friends.

A real find tucked away and private in a way that's so hard to find in London. The food was excellent, reasonably priced, and the service was friendly and personable. Highly recommended I will certainly be returning.

Fantastic Value, I have never written a review before but felt that the owner who was so good natured deserved one. I am from Newcastle and couldnt get as good value so thats says something. We went late so the restaurant was fairly empty which may explain the only 3 stars I have given for ambience. Ver carta

it is like walking into the dining room of a private house. The location is very central but it is hidden, which I think it is a good thing. The owner is very welcoming, the food is superb and it is price very reasonably even the wine starting from 15. It is a hidden gem peacefully located in Holborn. Definitely going back there again... although I should not spread the word! Book in advance as there are limited tables!

Restruant off the main road so not easy to find, the menu covers a wider range than normal for London. I had the Tempura prawns, not much in the way of Tempura just a normal batter and a bit greasy for my liking. I had gone to this restraunt because the online menu highlighted the served Crispy Cod with Chiili sauce. This is on my my favourite dish not often found on the menu of Thai Restraunts. The fish dish was worth the trouble to find it, It was full of favour and jsut the right hint of chili ot make it enjoyable. I would not recommend the coconut rice as it was not as dry as I like so go with the standard rice and hopefully it would be better.

Whilst I accept that 6pm is early for an evening meal, a restaurant should not take a booking if they are not open at that time. We chose this restaurant on the back of other reviews and because it suited our evening plans. Even though it was out of our way, we did not mind as we are lovers of Thai food and it is difficult to find a good one. To say that we were disappointed to find the restaurant closed on arrival, after making a special trip on the tube and trying to find it on foot, is an understatement. Not being from London, this caused us a bit of a problem. My only recommendation would be to have a plan B ready, just in case they decide not to be open on your chosen evening. Ver carta
