Nice Thai Restaurant, Have been going for a few years staff are efficient friendly. Good value menu and wine very reasonable.

I revisited the cozy restaurant recently and was pleasantly surprised by the updated decor and improved menu. The food was delicious.

after baan thai dan thai in purley due to excessive cost and weed portions discovered thai venue was a stroke of luck. friendly staff, very helpful, eating quite expensive and very tasty. I had better, but only three times the price. good value round Ver carta

Lovely staff and quick service. Delicious selection of Thai food and owner says he uses halal chicken and beef (but double check if you're not sure) I ordered a lunch takeaway and was ready in 15 minutes! Recommend the tempura vegetables, sweet and sour fish and soup

We enjoyed a delicious meal and received excellent service. The staff were attentive, yet not overbearing. The quality of the food was exceptional and the portion sizes were perfect for everyone in our group. There is a diverse selection of dishes to cater to all tastes, making it unlikely that you won't find something you enjoy on the menu.

that's a good friend. my family loves Thai food and has tried to eat in the center of purley, but we have decided 'thai venue' as our favorite. very friendly staff and very honest and delicious eating. we like the clean taste of eating and the chu chi prawns are to die. we have all our different taste buds, but for us this is the best in purley and coulsdon Ver carta

I can't figure out why this restaurant has a 4-star rating. It's just average, the restaurant is in poor condition, and the food is mediocre at best. I wouldn't consider it authentic or tasty. I decided to give it a shot based on the reviews and was very let down. Open Table should carefully review the feedback and take into account if some of it is biased towards the restaurant.

really surprised to see so many negative reviews. my wife and I had a great experience. we arrived on a Tuesday night and there were we and another couple in the restaurant so the service was unstoppable very fast. the waitress was very friendly and we were served as a vegan, we ordered the vegetarian menu and it was delicious. high points were the sweet with cashew sauce. I would definitely come back.

great food! new at coulsdon, I thought thai venue looked good, but a real shand was so quiet at a Fri evening. 3 of us had the cheapest of set menus with a bottle of wine and coffee and it was just under £20 a head. especially eating was excellent, the service inconspicuous but efficient. probably better than baan thai in purley (although I love the decor there! . will certainly go back this restaurant deserves to be more business!
