I loved this place. that was so nice the waiter was so friendly. I think his name was steve. great place will return defo. we enjoyed all our meal times. very beautiful

The lunch menu was very good value, I certainly enjoyed my steak, which was cooked to perfection. Only criticism I have is that the breaded mushrooms were rather difficult to cut. I nearly lost quite a few skidding across the plate. Ver carta

good food. free pop refills. the tables are blunt, so they do not place their glasses close to the edge or they will slip off very friendly service. fish was a bit hard to cut through the dough. burger was delicious. also had ribs that were good. they love the cloby chips.

Average food, poorly prepped and slowly served despite the place being empty. Probably good for kids parties and 2 for 10 cocktails, not much else. beautiful bar restaurant style beefeater. added to a premier inn hotel, but separate business, we visited so many tables available just before lunch. As soon as the lunch service started, the restaurant began to become more business. nice friendly, attentive staff that did everything they could to make lunch pleasant. Ver carta

This was our very first visit to Beefeater Burgess hill restaurant. We were very much impressed by the kind, helping and professional attitude shown by the manager Paul and the serving staff. We actually dropped in on a Saturday evening without any prior reservation as we were on an unplanned outing. The service was quick and the food was amazing. We all had a good hearty lunch and looking forward to be back sometime soon. A sure recommend to anybody planning to visit the burgess hill branch of the restaurant. Thanks!!

If you haven't been to a Beefeater before all you need to know is that they have a standard menu serving grilled foods. Although the restaurants are different they share a similar style and are generally co-located with a Premier Inn hotel. Our visit to The Acorn was great, our waitress, Shyirra, was polite and friendly and our food was delivered quickly and as ordered. We both enjoyed our meals, sirloin steak and a beef burger and they were cooked exactly as requested. If you want grilled foods then a Beefeater is always reliable and The Acorn was no exception. There is a plant based menu available but we didn't look at it.

I went to this restaurant for a family lunch and struggled to decide how many stars to give. It wasn't a busy time and the service was handled by one person who was responsible for seating customers, taking orders, delivering food, clearing tables, and handling the bills. It was clear that she needed some assistance. The menu was lacking, as they did not have any burgers available. The food we ordered was tasty, but the starters sat on the pass for over 5 minutes while the waitress was busy. I would consider returning, but I would inquire about the availability of items on the menu beforehand, as we were not informed until we were ready to order.
