"on a table at the arrival. met with paper menus with the half of the selection missing (with biro crosses specified). when we finally ordered from the selection of the scant, we were informed that the dishes were also from the menu! could be an idea to have a few dips available for a busy Sunday lunch service. that was the end of the gauge, then we were told that our second choice was not available! we tried to have a sense of humor over the whole debacle, but when the manager turned rude and abrupt, that was the icing on the cake! we took our business elsewhere and had a pleasant experience in the anchor pub near. this place really went downhill. the personal was inexperienced with the management of customer expectations and the provision of a friendly service. Inadequate eating is available, although it is a phone booking for 6 people. let us be insulted, disappointed and hungry. avoid them."

The waiter was disrespectful and made us sit outside in the cold despite the empty restaurant/bar. I suggest that the staff learn how to communicate with customers and treat them better. We will not be coming back. Ver carta

We left after being ignored at the bar by three bar staff consecutively, wouldn't even make eye contact. Shame as we have eaten here before and it was pretty good. Another couple also left, we were there for nearly 10 min, really strange. Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

We visited the restaurant on Monday. We tried the tortillas and a variety of fajitas. The food was well presented, fresh, and delicious. The service was quick and friendly. The restaurant is spacious and the prices are very reasonable. We will definitely be returning.

This is my second visit to this Mexican restaurant in the last month. It offers a wide variety of options and has a lovely atmosphere. The food is bursting with different flavors. The average cost per person is £20-30. I would rate the food, service, and atmosphere all a 5 out of 5. Ver carta

The Albion has been our go-to Mexican restaurant for years, with excellent meat options. However, the vegetarian menu has been declining for months and last night was the worst. The only vegetarian fajita option is now mushroom and sweet peppers, which is not a good combination. The dish was bland and tasteless, and we felt ripped off paying £16.95 for 1 mushroom and a few pieces of sweet peppers. We won't be returning.

All 3 burgers we got were very dry, but everything else was great, so sadly, it reduced the rating dramatically as they were supposed to be waygu burgers but they tasted just like cheaper, over cooked burgers also the chicken burger was overcooked, as the crispy coating was a dark brown showing it had been fried too long and the inside also dry Parking: Parking is located in front of the restaurant and has limited parking, but it shouldn't be an issue. Price per person: £20–30 Food: 2 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Parking options: Free parking lot

"Having been to the Phoenix several times and I believe, this to be my second average review of the food and service, you 'd think they would have taken heed, but clearly not. Firstly, like most top end restaurants in London, they are reserving the right to charge for no shows £20 per head). But, what they are also doing, which is very unfair, is charging you for cancellations within 24 hours of the booking at £10 per head. If one or more of our friends had fallen ill over night it 's the flu season at the moment), they would have been were forced to go for an expensive average Sunday lunch, whilst spreading their germs to the other diners. It also poses the question, what would some do if you book a table less than 24 hours like we did) and then decide to cancel? The excuse that orders for food have already been placed doesn 't really hold water. The Sunday menu forces you to order a minimum of 2 courses at £34 per head. Some of the top London restaurants are charging less for far more opulent Sunday roasts e.g. the Jugged Hare at the Barbican). The Sunday lunch served was simply very average and not value for money. Finally, why are the desserts here, always consistently so bad? I ordered a baked cheesecake and got cream squirted on a piece of cake. When I asked what I had been served, I was told it was chef 's interpretation of a cheesecake. The menu clearly stated baked cheesecake. Not even in my wildest dreams can you interpret a baked cheesecake as a piece of cake with creamed squirted on it! This was promptly returned and replaced with a vile chocolate tart, with pastry so hard I couldn 't cut into it without the fear of smashing the plate it was served on. The chocolate was over salted and the chantilly cream served with it unsweetened. Save your money, go elsewhere."
