"I visited this restaurant for the first time with a friend, and I can guarantee it won't be my last! The food was incredible, and the service was impeccable. It was a wonderful experience from start to finish. You’d be hard-pressed to find food that’s both delicious and beautifully presented anywhere else. The owner and staff truly made us feel at home and valued. Everything was absolutely perfect! I'm quite picky, but I couldn't find a single thing to complain about."

"10/10 for customer service, Tasty food, loved the Persian/Iranian tea baklava. The lambshanks were delicious. The chicken sheesh was a bit dry but the lamb was nice juicy. The toilets were very clean staff very friendly! The deco was really nice presentation was 10/10 Will be visiting again’ Things they could improve Up to date menu. They don’t give any sauce/condiments with the mix platter off meats/ sheesh which is needed, and what other places like this usually do. The sauces were £1 for one however the portion size were very small so had to order more."

"We were here on Saturday, really feel the 1 star review on the same night is unjustified. The blonde girl was in training and very nervous, but equally very pleasant. The rest of the staff, friendly and knowledgable. The food was lovely, 2 starters, 2 mains, 1 side and 4 drinks for £50, you can’t complain for that price! The only thing missing was the harbour view of Turkey rather than the streets of Sunderland! But they had the carpets on the wall so it felt the part"

"This restaurant had a lovely ambiance and a promising menu, but ultimately fell short in a few key areas. The menu was limited and the service was mediocre, with long waits between ordering and receiving food. The duck dish looked beautiful but was dry and had an odd taste. The roast potato and sausage roll were also disappointing, tasting as if they had been left under a heat lamp for too long. However, the starters of squid and pigs in blankets were superb. Overall, the food did not live up to the price and potential of the restaurant."

"Booked in for Saturday night and from start to finish we had an amazing night out, seated straight away, the waitress was straight over to get drinks orders and then menu followed (we couldn't decide what to have) so waitress gave some recommendations and came back a few minutes later and took our order. We were not disappointed!! The food was fresh and hot and I asked for a couple of slices of bread for the sauce from the homemade lasagne. Nothing was too much trouble. We waited a little while to order dessert (ice cream) which was gorgeous and not to filling. The restaurant was very busy but we weren't made to feel rushed at all and sat for a little while with another round of drinks and got the bill. Very reasonable prices. Would recommend booking and it's great to see a much loved restaurant busy again. Staff are so friendly, attentive and polite, nothing was too much trouble. Can't wait to visit again and also loving the fresh new look with the decor. We will be back.
