excellent cooking, fabulous tasting sunday, correct roast potatoes, plenty of delicious meat, even serve very generous portions served hot and with extra gravure. very friendly team, will definitely go back.

The food at the Cricketers served the best roast dinner I have had for a long time. The gravy wasn't granules and the roast potatoes were delicious. We had a lovely table in the garden and the atmosphere was great! Excellent service all round.

Lovely pub, excellent staff, superb food and plenty of it! Everything was great from the initial booking to the warm welcome and the accommodating service. My father was in our party and as a former publican was particularly impressed. We will be back!

Very friendly staff,piping hot food. They were very helpful regarding my enquiries about the Watercress line which is very close. Great children’s play area with plenty of seats near by to keep an eye on them. My husband had the Hake and chips which he...enjoyed. The fish was well cooked and the batter wasn’t greasy. The children’s meal was very substantial.

We ate here on Monday. The service was great and the food was served hot and fresh. We sat outside in the garden which looks lovely with flowers. It also has nice, comfy outside furniture and with the music playing in the background it’s lovely...and relaxing. We would highly recommend The Cricketers. It has plenty of parking and outdoor seating and it is doggy and child friendly! The Thai fish cakes are amazing!

We visited the pub as a family of 4 for an evening meal. There was only one member of staff waiting at table so service was a bit slow even though we were one of only two tables eating. We’ve enjoyed coming to the pub...for a number of years due to the good value of food and great garden but felt a bit underwhelmed on this occasion. The price of each meal has increased by at least £2-£3 which makes a difference when feeding a family. It is our nearest pub so we’d love to come often but the food was okay, not great, and when the bill for 4 meals and 4 drinks came to over £65 we were left feeling that it wasn’t really worth it.
