beautiful pub and restaurant. we didn't get a table for dinner that was nice on Monday. we had a great service both nights last night, but the young waitress was fab had good cracks with her as the men say. worth a visit.

had a nice evening meal in the anchorage then in the anchor for drinks. still a great bar after all the years, management and staff are really excellent and do a good work for their customers. we had a brilliant night thanks to nigel and team!

4 of us visited here before 4 weeks and had a great night. we had dinner and some drinks. the personal was very attentive. Eating was fantastic and everything for 10 pounds. a great menu for everyone. fantastic live music. thanks to all the employees good work

Food is Fantastic!!!! Passing through Portstewart or vacationing there one place not to miss is The Anchor Bar !!! Food is outstanding!!! Freshly prepared and is delicious!!! Try the Guinness beef pie !!! It's delicious!!!! Nearby activities: Plenty of galleries and smart gift shopping. Walkability: Easy walks on the promenade, along the shore and Portstewart itself, it's a pretty town with great views. Love Portstewart Plenty of smart Cafes and shopping. Rooms: 5

What we didn't know, is that the place is also a club and bar. Luckily, the club closes down at 2 am. So we just went to the club and went to sleep afterwards. But that should be considered beforehand. Otherwise, the place is a bit old-fashioned, but definitely clean and the personnel was very friendly professional. Also, club entry is free for hotel guests. I believe there was only a staircase and no lift. But overall, I rate positively : Also, there seems to be a lot going on in this attractive beach location. A bit too much for my personal taste.

Ut is a very nice place. It is in a good spot, it is on a hill but it isn't so steep. I didn't see any parking for disabled outside. For me thats all it was as my mum was not so good on hills. Really nice food, friendly staff, good service and the Port is a beautiful place. Main meals are £15. It was clean and had clean toilets and a cool huge bench for photographs. We enjoyed our food, generous portions and the guiness was nice. No shamrock though... A nice afternoon and we all enjoyed the homemade dishes and deserts. I would definitely go again. I

Booked for dinner in the Inn at 6pm on Saturday with the hope of going next door to bar after for drinks. It was very busy. The staff were nice. We had 5 and the table was a bit small but when a group didn't show up, they moved us to a bigger table which was perfect. The food was lovely and they had 2 for £10 cocktails. £140 for 5 mains and a cocktail each so good value. Unfortunately we weren't able to stay for out night out as the bar was too busy.
