"So let us share our experience, We went in tonight as a family after seeing that it home made food on the drive to sennen and looked online and had a good look at the food available on the menu also looking to see if it was dog friendly and it ticked all the boxes, Upon arrival me and my wife went in 1st to ask if we could have a table for food and if dogs can go inside and staff were a little unsure but they confirmed we could upon asking for a table for 7 but one in a pram he said we don’t have the availability to cater I was looking at a table big enough and eventually said that this table was available whilst being seated we had 2 table one clean and the 2nd just been finished with so needed a clean but he came and cleaned both tables and he squirted the cleaner on a clean table and the over spray bounced off the table and went over our selfs then we were handed a menu freshly printed A4 paper thrown on the table (WET TABLE) so they stuck to the table upon agreeing what we wanted we went to the bar within 2-3 mins of being seated we knew what we wanted and when we asked for the meal it was OUT OF STOCK (Sunday lunch) ok fair so as I was with a family member at the bar I quickly rushed back to the table to ask my daughter of an alternative she wasn’t happy, So I made a meal up of all the extras on the menu so I went back to the bar to find my family member ordered 2 fish and chips then I realised my wife also wanted Sunday lunch so I quickly rushed back to ask her what she wanted and went back to the bar just as my family member left and asked for fish and chips was also sold out also! 99% of the menu was SOLD OUT this should of been discussed upon arrival not as we were ordering I run and operate my own business and this isn’t how I would treat my customers this isn’t how an establishment should be ran! Even when I was standing trying to order a member of staff was standing there arm against the wall doing nothing while customers are standing waiting to be served! So we decided not to eat and my family member went back to the bar to ask for a refund as we couldn’t eat as a family and the staff were iffy about offering a refund but 10 minutes later they did refund my family member as it became a scene for other people as they could see what had happened! This establishment should be call the 1st and late time you come here! We ended up walking to the chip shop down the road for food we are very disappointed in this company and establishment! For anyone who wants to eat please make sure they HAVE STOCK how can this establishment run without stock? Never again tonight they lost over £200 revenue due to this situation!"

"I wondered if I was in the wrong restaurant! I booked online after reading an article by the Old Success Inn saying it had been refurbished and had an al la carte menu. Instead we were shown to a table in the bar and when we looked at the menu it was the usual standard boring fare you find everywhere these days -fish and chips, burger or curry! I couldnt see a single thing I wanted on the menu so had to settle for scampi and chips which I could have cooked at home for a quarter of the price. My husband ordered a starter which he found inedible . Then we waited 45 minutes for our main coursse when everybody who had come in after us had been served! In the end I had to ask a waitress where our meals were and she went to find out and it was at least another ten minutes. My scampi and chips were piled all mixed up on my plate. I was going to have a dessert but couldnt be bothered after that. So I wondered if there was a separate restaurant and if we were in the wrong place? Not that I was given a choice online. A very disappomnting experience and not cheap!! r"

"We ordered 4 portions of fish and chips and a few drinks totaling £120+. I don't mind paying a premium price as there isn't many restaurants around to eat. We sat inside close to the window as one of us was on a wheelchair. Served food in a takeaway box (We were dining IN). No peas or tar tar sauce like in the other customer reviews online. Spoke to a member of staff about 1 of my portions of fish was mostly batter fried dark brown. His response was sorry that's how it is. Brilliant response if you ask me! Cheers lads. Thank'd him and carried on eating my chips. Didn't probe as for manager as I thought they may not be in the best frame of mind. The view on the other hand is out of this world!! Maybe it was their off day. All the best the Lands End Restaurant and Bar on future business. Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair push chair can access."

"Visited Land’s End on a cold windy day and after paying for car parking found the whole place closed and shuttered! Very disappointing! On the road out via Sennen, after being wind-blown and battered we spotted the First and Last Inn and decided to pop...in for a cup of coffee. A warm, inviting, dog friendly Inn with lovely staff who made us feel very welcome. After the warming cup of coffee we decided to stay and sample the Sunday Lunch. A delicious meal of roast beef, Yorkshire Pudding and a superb array of seasonal vegetables, washed down by excellent pint of Guinness for hubby and a glass of Chardonnay for me. An interesting Inn with a Smuggler’s tunnel and tales of smuggling, betrayal and murder! Well worth a visit to enjoy a delicious meal."

"Great looking place overlooking the main sandy beach at Sennen. Only dropped in for 2 takeaway coffees to take and sit down with back on the beach below. Staff were friendly but l got a bit of a shock to discover that 2 small takeaway coffees (one with oatmilk) came to £9 !!! Yes the location is brilliant but it looks like you have to pay for the privilege !! Service: Take out Meal type: Other Price per person: £1–10 Food: 3 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 3 Parking space: Plenty of parking Parking options: Paid parking lot"
