"the place is very nice and the menu looks pretty good. However, eating was average (salmon was overcooked, and so was the meat in the burgers) and the service was very slow, although almost empty. we waited very long for our food and even ask for the bill we had to follow the waiter. in addition, they accused my card with the wrong order. the place has potential, but our experience was not very good, we will not come back."

The food was delicious and fresh. Normal prices for Clerkenwell, ie high but not impossible.

We had a lovely time once again at the Artisan. We were circa 20 of us and they delivered excellent service even though our reservation was booked last minute!

linus is friendly and welcoming. come regularly for the bogof burger tag, great value; decent burger, very nice riders. good beer on hahn (notably the sumo apa.) good seating and ambiente.

Food came 2 hours later and they’d ran out of most of the menu items. We should have been told this in advance so we could leave rather than waiting so long. Staff were sympathetic and did give a massive discount for our troubles. But would not risk coming again

Was great for a big group of people, easy to book, big table and wasn't too busy so we had lots of space, good music. Only downside was that they had ran of out a few dishes on the menu people wanted to order. Other than that great, would recommend as it is a lovely bar. Ver carta

I have booked an event for 20 guests and we had two small tables (one of them with high chairs) that would accommodate only about 8/10 people. I called them after the reservation and explained that we would be a big group 50-60 and they confirmed that they could be accommodated in a private area of cash.

Nice place, well decorated and friendly. Had a group bouncing around and casually leaning all over us for the first part of the meal which was a tad oppressive. Food was generally good, but pretty disappointed in the crumble. A bowl of fruit compote with a light sprinkling of crumble pastry does not a crumble make. On the other hand, the girl serving at the table was a delight.
