The Banyan Tree - Carta

We arrived at opening time for a end of year christmas work dinner it was extremely cold and the heaters were not turned on till much later when other customers arrived. Flavours were not rich and in my opinion probably a little too much on the menu to make good food.

Great place, staff are very knowledgeable about their restaurant and menu. Former Little Chef. Very nice and interesting decor. Very reasonable prices and a wide range of menu choices. Owner very hospitable and welcoming. Very warm welcome given to my wife's assistance/service dog

Celebrating my birthday, with family and the food was amazing, very fresh and came out really hot. The staff was very welcoming and couldn't do enough for you. The owner even brought me a birthday cake out, with sparkler, what a great end to a lovely evening. Will definitely be returning. Ver carta

I recently dined at The Banyan Tree for the first time and was thoroughly impressed. The restaurant is beautiful, with a charming atmosphere, and the food was truly outstanding - delicious and well-presented. The staff were friendly and attentive, and went out of their way to ensure a pleasant dining experience. I will definitely be returning for the best curry I've ever had!

Stay away from this restaurant! The food is bland and the service is terrible. As an Asian, I know authentic Asian cuisine and this definitely isn't it. The service was awful, with waiters taking forever to bring requested items. The owner/manager had a bad attitude and refused a simple request for fries and naan for our children. The place looked dirty and I wouldn't trust eating food prepared there. Avoid at all costs.

The Banyan Tree restaurant is a gourmet Indian restaurant that offers a variety of "classic/traditional" dishes as well as Chef's signature dishes. The food is of high quality and my favorite dish is the hot meat starter, which is prepared exceptionally well at this restaurant. The decor is stylish, with large round tables that I find appealing. They also provide take away and delivery services for select dishes. Overall, it is a must-try for those who appreciate good Indian cuisine. Ver carta

The Banyan Tree restaurant is a gourmet Indian restaurant that serves classic and traditional dishes as well as Chef's signature dishes. I would love to try every single one of their dishes, though not all at once. My favorite dish is the hot meat starter, which is not typically found at this high standard in other Indian restaurants. The restaurant has a stylish decor, with large round tables that I particularly enjoy. They also offer a take away service for some dishes and a delivery service for those lucky enough to live nearby.

Never again! Have not been there for 10 years and will Never go back. Not sure who paid you to write those amazing reviews or you never had any quality food and good service in you life probably. This is place is far from fine dining! Waiters come and go to your table in bunches, like 5 were servicing us on Valentine’s Day 2023. Only manager made and eye contact and somehow cared. Wow, what an amazing experience we had this evening. We where greeted with a friendly and polite waiter and even the owner came to introduce himself. The service is 5*, we didn't wait long to be served with a selection of drinks and fine wines and then on to our table. Whilst at the table the waiter pulled out chairs and seated us with our napkins on our laps what an amazing experience this was. Now on to the food, it was absolutely delicious, it was freshly prepared and served hot. the curry was amazing nice and full of flavour, Peshawari naan was tasty and generous in size.
