We had a family gathering, and everyone enjoyed the food greatly. The atmosphere was nice and relaxed. We would definitely come back again.

Have been to the Barn Owl many times before, but at the moment there seems to be a real positive change going on. Food is excellent, the staff are friendly and engaging and the setting as always is nice. I am impressed most by the change in atmosphere around the place. The staff seem very committed to providing a top class service.

I've enjoyed a meal here for the second time, and the menu was delightful, featuring well-presented dishes. There’s a good selection of wine visible through the glass. The ham hock was delicious, but the starter of scallops and prawns in garlic didn’t meet my expectations and felt overpriced. The peeled prawns were not very tasty. The restaurant itself is beautiful and cozy, with lovely decor and a nice ambiance. I highly recommend it to visitors who book their stay at the nearby Holiday Inn in advance.

I had the triple plate featuring beef, pork, and turkey, along with generous portions of vegetables—at least three out of five on our table! The dessert selection was also fantastic, and I tried at least three options. I chose the apple and rhubarb crumble with hot custard to finish off my meal. Overall, it was great value at about £28 per person, which included two pints. I also want to highlight the friendly and attentive staff.
