Great service, and nice drinks etc. The scrambled egg would benefit from some moisture, a but of butter and milk would prevent it from drying up.

Wonderful food and excellent service. Highly recommended! The avocado breakfast is one of my favourites! Try their cakes, they are also delicious!

I was pleasantly surprised to discover high-quality, perfectly poached eggs down a little side street. This, combined with a friendly greeting and a delicious coffee, made for a fantastic dining experience.

If we lived closer, my weight would almost certainly increase : The cakes and scones looked so tempting. We called in for brunch and were not disappointed. The food and service were very good, the staff delightful. The way the place is decorated is relaxing not at all noisy and a pleasure to be in.

A very friendly cafe. Straightforward cafe menu with a couple of nice specials. I had the sourdough, poached egg, avocado and bacon. Really yummy. My daughter had the kids sausage, beans and toast. She made me take a star off because there wasn't any garlic bread. (thought it should get 5 stars but hey, I'm not in charge around here... Lovely place, highly recommended! Ver carta

I visited the Bay Tree Coffee House this week with my husband. He ordered the regular breakfast and I had a tuna sandwich, both of which were delicious. The only downside was that there was no egg mayonnaise sandwich on the menu, which was surprising as it is usually a popular choice. The staff were very friendly and made us feel welcome. Overall, it was a much more welcoming experience compared to a generic chain cafe.

We stopped by the Bay Tree in Wantage on a rainy day during a quick visit. Chose this restaurant because it was ranked No 1 on Tripadvisor. Despite it being a Tuesday morning, the place was bustling, which we saw as a positive indicator. The waitress was delightful, friendly, and polite. The cappuccino we ordered was excellent, and our friends enjoyed their peppermint tea and red bush tea, both served in large, lovely pots.

This is a lovely café tucked away a little, approximately behind the Post Office Vaults. It is immaculately clean and new-feeling, although it is very popular, so clearly they are established here. The coffee is fab and the prawn mayo and avocado sandwich I had was delicious. The cheese, onion and tomato toastie my friend had was also very nice. The service was efficient and friendly. Also what a refreshing change it is to see dogs being allowed back into some cafés, such as this one. We will definitely be back when we visit Wantage again. Ver carta
