"We have been before with friends and enjoyed our meal, and the carvery was very good value for money. This occasion we were very disappointed. We booked in advance for 4 people but the table given to us was right in the bar area and it was very busy and so noisy we couldn’t communicate with our friends who had come a good distance, the whole purpose of our meal!! we booked for 12.00 on Friday, maybe not the best day. This had to be the worst table in the place."

I had lasagne. It was tasty, but far too oily. My husband went for fish, and he was happy with the meal. The staff was very friendly.

The young staff were being trained and didnât know everything that was available but everyone was very friendly, and confusion soon sorted out.

Lovely meal out with my Mum for her birthday. Slight unfortunate imcident with the soup being cold but apart from that the meal was lovely. The staff couldn't do enough and corrected the problem straight away.

A good variety of food including a very good carvery. Staff friendly and cheerful. The only more negative was that the tables were quite close together. However overall a very good meal which was value for money.
