Decent pub, good beers on tap, steel tipped darts obviously and a good menu. Fish and chips were real good.

ideally located in the heart of historic kenilworth just a short walk from the beautiful burg, the bear and ragged staff offers a warm welcome from rob and its team offers a wide range of meals and snacks from the extensive menu.

Ended up here for a quick lunch while we were in Kenilworth. It looks like it's had a lick of paint and some new light fittings recently but it's still a traditional pub. There was quite a good selection of food and drinks on the menu. Edd and I each had a pint of cider then sat down in a sunny spot to peruse the menu. It was busy in the pub, mainly large groups including children. Edd had scampi and chips and I had a chicken and bacon salad. I was pleased that my chicken was actually a chicken breast which had been seasoned properly, cooked and sliced up. The salad itself had plenty of lovely bits and pieces like pepperdew drops and grapes. Service was efficient- we didn't have to wait long...

Without doubt Leanne and Danny’s Sunday lunch is the best in the county and you really should book in advance to avoid being left watching everyone else tuck into the fabbie grub.(even teh veggie stuff is cooked separately). Very welcoming atmosphere , happy to let in dogs and all decorated to a good standard. The menu is good, varied and Leanne does an amazing job and the food is served all day.. Its also very good for veggies. If you want a light lunch the soup and rosaries are just smashing. Its also a good spot for sport (footy/rugby /cricket) and has an incredibly competitive Bingo night on Monday Decent wine list and good range of beers including guest beers .
