Really delicious food from this takeaway, they always say an hour but it never is. Hot and fresh, lovely.

Best (only? place to get a bag of chips in Topsham. Good chips. The new curry sauce isn't as good as it used to be.

I am a regular at Bejing Friar and have been for years. A personal service, good portion sizes and fast delivery. Highly recommend. Ver carta

First time I’ve had a Chinese from these guys in a couple of years due to Covid etc but what can I say other than fantastic food and service I will be back for certain

Absolutely disgusting soggy brown chips with a dodgy smell and taste. Obviously been cooked well ahead of time. The curry sauce was red and tasted nothing like curry. Awful! Just awful!

Don’t even bother. We only knew this place existed because of the menu flyer through our door but no one picks up the phone when you order. Wasted 45 mins of our time just ringing. There’s a nearby Chinese takeaway called Rainbow near topsham road too that has great food and great service. We will stick to them and give this place a miss. Ver carta

I visited on a Saturday, it was busy but I was served quickly and food arrived in less than 15 minutes. I took my fish and chips home to eat. I was terribly disappointed, the fish was overcooked and very dry and the chips were in bits. My husband was not impressed with his portion either. I have had fish and chips from here before which were fine. But I shall not be going again. Fish and chips are not the inexpensive meal it used to be so I want quality.

Great food! Use them regularly and always note the chips are great fish shop style. However difficult to get through and when you do it’s difficult to get the order over (Lucy is great! . Ordered half a duck tonight, got no duck, no cucumber etc and simply sent a pack of pancakes. I have no idea what they are meant to be eaten with. When we called back the person on phone stated we weren’t charged for the duck so I assume I am supposed to be happy with the pack of pancakes and nothing for my child to eat with them? I will bring them back for you tomorrow for my refund on the pancakes! Terrible phone service.

I've been using topsham fryer for the past 30 years was always good food and service ! But lately the ribs I've been ordering have been really tough to get off the bone !! So I've phoned them and aired my issues ! Would always send some free next time !! We know when they are busy because the food goes on a downward spiral !! I always order the special curry without the beef and pork because you will be chewing for an hour! We ordered cod large chips ,basically one potatoes, special curry spring rolls ! All arrived rock hard batter on fish ,chips cold dried out overdone! I have no problem paying for my food if it's right !! This business doesn't like complaints ! Now because my food has not...
