Frequent diner but feel on this occasion very let down by the starter I chose....an oversized handleful of rocket with two small slithers of smoked salmon and lime Creme fraiche. Not impressed at all and expected to pay £8.50. Not good. Don't drop your standards!

Good food but the service very aggresive. We were 5 booked in and 4 turn up together and instead of taking us to the table they were insisting that we should have a drink. We had to insist to get to the table and wait for the 5 person. Overall good but the service is bad. Fast enough. Ver carta

As always the whole experience with lunch with friends in The Birch was excellent, from our arrival to departure the staff are polite, professional and fun, the food is excellent, for our group of seven friends it is the only place we meet to enjoy a catch and lunch....Please don't change a bit.
