"Wow, we can’t belief the last review! We’ve been eating at Guddi and Gikki’s for five or six years and have probably clocked up over 120 meals between the two of us. Mostly as a couple, but also family/friends’ get togethers. Never a bad meal, always great service, and as a vegetarian and vegan couple, we have always felt that we have been considerately accommodated with choice. No surprise then that our vegan and vegetarian friends and family also rate it highly. It’s by no means overpriced, and the cost properly reflects the high quality of the menu. The food is sensational whilst the ongoing tweaks and changes to the dishes keeps things fresh and exciting. Donsters, you are one hell of an uptight diner! First name Sabotage, second name Donsters?? Donsters’ last review of a different venue was in 2015 when a 1 out of 5 was also given? The response of that establishment clearly says it all, but Donsters hadn’t listened. Donsters needs to be more inquisitive, ask appropriate questions and explain their needs respectfully, rather than being grumpy and vacuous. If you can’t afford the prices, or if you are unable to appreciate the value of what’s on offer, then do keep your promise and stay away. I’d hate for you to spoil one of my evenings. Keep the fabulous food flowing please G&G."

"I don’t get to eat here very often due to normally being very busy on Saturdays. The food is a Very high standard, and always good service. Well priced. Good country breakfast. 5* every time, but didn’t realised they’ve built an “annex” . Which to be fair they did call to confirm that I would be sitting there. Described over the phone as 4 walls and a roof,…..truthfully was more like a shed with 3.5 walls with a polycarb roof. It’s was cold being 23rd of December and the wall heater was broken. So bit of a shame that when you book you could be outside. Personally I say do away with it until summer or have a separate booking category. Very nice otherwise. I was just jealous of people inside"

"13 of us attended last night for a birthday celebration and once again the skewer house did not let us down. Food was amazing, staff were great and a brilliant evening had by all. Would highly recommend this restaurant. We can't wait to visit you guys again soon. Thank you Taunton Skewer House"

"Without a doubt the best breakfast I've had in taunton deliveried everything tasted amazing! It didn't come soggy as beans etc are placed in pots you can definitely see they take pride in what they do! I'll definitely be returning thankyou for an amazing breakfast! "The food at this restaurant is incredibly delicious and made to order. The service is friendly and very accommodating, especially when it comes to special dishes not listed on the menu. I have visited multiple times and highly recommend it. The atmosphere is welcoming and cozy, not overly fancy. I particularly enjoyed the lamb in red wine sauce, which was tender and flavorful. While I cannot comment on the fish dishes due to my allergy, I can confidently say that all the food is worth trying. Visit this restaurant and give it a shot - you won't be let down."
