"the black sheep has really improved in the last months and is now a really nice place to visit. it felt a little more lively, had more atmosphere, the personal was friendly and the fact that they now offer table service makes it a more beautiful experience. The coffees and snacks are good, it's just a scandal that has gone bar and everything that is now available are strange craft beer and apple wines in bottle, because the venue does not achieve its maximum potential. the bottles are simply not great, are overpriced and pretentious."

a nice cozy pub/café hidden. that eating is so good, we had a choice of appetizers and couldn't owe it.

eating brilliant, can't wait until it gets opened again. the sheep and sitting are always clean, even if it is busy.

Just love it here, so local to where we live. The best thing is the Starbucks coffee, just the best. Not much choice of food but what they do have is very nice

I'm sorry if this sounds bad but I am so used to generic infrared oven cooked chain mush I wasn't expecting anything different. I had the duck tika and was so surprised how tasty it was, good texture, piping hot. It is a very limited...menu, only one dessert, no starters but I would recommend it.

for the first time since the Starbucks concession. it is still a cozy and beautiful pub/coffee shop with a good selection of coffee and cake. the service seems a little better now, the drinks were brought to our table, but perhaps that was simple because it was a quieter time of the day. the environment is comfortable, cozy and relaxing.

I gave this place a second chance today after an awful unfriendly first visit!. I was in utter shock to find the service today was even worse with the same staff member. Perhaps there needs to be training in ensuring customers are able to leave...without feeling bullied!myself and my family have been regular customers at the residents for years, but after today I can ensure I will never be returning.

I went for dinner today and I was the difficult customer not meaning to be on purpose but because of very strict new dietary requirements, I spoke to the cook and he was absolutely amazing trying to suggest different things in the end we come to agreement, lovely man very understaning and goes all out for his customers, the food was very nice, good drinks and lovely building, all other staff was very friendly and inviting.

Great start to our uk tour. Met up with two mates on way tut the north . Seven o’clock open we were there eight for coffee and pastry’s. Made the staff work for their money ,asked loads silly questions got them to take our photo and check it was ok . Grub and coffee reasonable price and flavor, just shame tea wasn’t a pot of only a mug of, prob just to keep people moving not staying there whole day .
