My husband and I often have our morning coffee here and always find the coffee to be great and the staff to be really lovely. We certainly do not recognise them as being anything other than helpful.

I visit here every time I visit Eastbourne and this time had a sunset glass of wine with a friend and then coffee and pain au Chocolat with my sister. It's great to be so close to the sea and have great quality food and drink. The service is good too.

This is a nice little licensed cafe built into the seafront walls at Eastbourne. We had a nice drink here and we sat at a table on their boardwalk terrace just opposite the cafe, adjacent to the beach. Great views of the pier and out to sea, fine as long as the weather is fair.

I visited this restaurant at the end of lockdown. My husband, who is exempt from wearing a mask, entered without one. The female staff member behind the bar was very rude and aggressive about this. I have noticed similar incidents happening to other people as well. Additionally, the coffee was not good at all. I strongly suggest avoiding this restaurant, regardless of whether you wear a mask or not.

Nice seafront cafe. Limited food and snacks slightly on the pricey side. Coffee good but I don’t like having to use reusable cups so often, there must be a reason for it, but I don’t know why. Some staff smile and are very friendly, others seem less so. Appears to attract a regular clientele however, and plenty of seating available outside on the beach and prom, with a few tables inside. However, I wish they would offer more comfortable chairs as the neighbouring cafes do.

Ever since the second lockdown, I have been regularly visiting Eastbourne for my daily exercise. I was delighted to discover a fantastic takeaway cafe that offers a wide selection of coffees, sandwiches, hot pies, and delicious cakes. Sitting on the wall outside, enjoying the sea view with my coffee and snack, has truly helped me stay grounded during these difficult times. A big thank you to The Boardwalk for keeping many of us in good spirits and for your dedication in making this experience possible.

I stopped here today for a coffee was going to have some thing hot but the cost of a pastie was£3.95 which I think is abit expensive the coffee I had was great very nice views looking out to sea the place was clean and tidy was surprised to see dogs walking around inside the cafe as there is food being served there was a golden Labrador running inside and out the place does seem to have it regular customers at no point did the staff today tell the person with the dog to take dog outside great location for the cafe will I come back yes for a coffee to eat no prices I think are abit expensive sorry love mr cheeky in Kent

I had a negative experience at the restaurant when I met with a lady behind the counter. She asked me to wear a face mask, but I explained that I was exempt. She was rude and unapologetic, insisting that I needed a mask. I showed her my Exemption Card, but she was still unimpressed. I asked to speak to the manager or owner, but she only offered to provide me with the company details on a website. When I pushed for a contact number, she gave me a mobile and landline that were both non-functional. I would appreciate it if the owner of Broadwalk Cafe could contact me to discuss this further. I also took photos of the staff member during this interaction.

Stopped here for tea and sandwich while having a stroll along the seafront. We recommend the mushroom sausage rolls (labelled as Vegan sausage rolls) as a nice alternative to a normal sausage roll. I'm nowhere near being vegetarian let alone vegan, but they make a nice alternative and we absolutely love it! We felt the mushroom filling inside the roll was not as much we expected and I’m not giving them 4 stars as overall it was appealing for us. We sat on the patio at their front but beware not your food being stolen by the seagulls, there are a lot of them flying around.
