The Boars Head - Menú

I just had dinner, and the salmon was fantastic. The rest of the food was also very good!

We had our first takeaway of the year tonight—fish and chips from the Boars Head—and we were really impressed! The portion was generous, and the mushy peas were a delightful addition. We can’t wait to have them again! I definitely recommend it! Thank you!

I ordered soup with brown bread, but when it arrived, it came with white bread instead. I had to call the waitress over to address this mistake. To make matters worse, the soup was incredibly salty and the bread was stale, so I sent it back. I then had to wait for the menu to get a replacement, which turned out to be an old option that was only mediocre, but at least it was edible. After our plates were cleared, we were never offered a dessert menu, which we were looking forward to, so we just decided to pay the bill and go find dessert elsewhere.
