First time for a drink...real ales good selection of. Food looked good although I didn't eat. Go again for sure. Back again 3-4more times ?...been again ...still loads of choices to drink!

An old fashioned country pub with loads of real ales on 14 handpulls, also a few big brewery brewed beer and lager. Also on some days there is Eastern fare food, looks nice but not tried yet. In summer plenty of outdoor seating. Ver carta

Great real ale pub with a great selection of local draft beers, cask and keg. Roaring open fire, dog friendly and classic pub grub available. It also helps that it's right on the Tyne Valley railway line, and also situated on Keelman's Way cycle path.

If you're looking for a great selection of beer, friendly conversation, and a cozy open fire, this is the place to visit. Mark, the owner, works hard to keep customers satisfied. The outdoor seating area is especially nice in the spring and summer months.
