Had dinner here, such a lovely place, fab relaxed atmosphere, staff friendly and was never rushed. I had the veggie burger and it was one of the best I have ever had. Highly recommend if ever in Charlestown. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £10–20 Food: 5 Ver carta

The Boathouse is a modern restaurant with hard floors, no curtains, and a vaulted ceiling, making it visually appealing. However, it was incredibly noisy. As my partner has hearing difficulties, we struggled to have a meaningful conversation. Unfortunately, because of this, we're unlikely to return.

Can't say I have eaten a meal as good as this for a very, very long time.... If ever. Amazing quiet and relaxed atmosphere, perfect service and food to die for. Fantastic, different, seasonal vegetarian options. Would eat here time and time again without a second thought. Chef/chefs ... You should apply for MasterChef. Food: 5 Service: 5

Such a fabulous place to go for dinner! I took my 9 year old son and my mother for dinner whilst on holiday and was delighted with our choice of restaurant. The food was delicious, the service was great and we really enjoyed the atmosphere, it's just such a cool place to be! I'm looking forward to my next holiday so we can return again! The atmosphere at The Boathouse was delightful, and the customer service was excellent. I found my veggie burger to be quite filling, and my partner felt the same about her lamb burger, both of which were beautifully presented. Our only suggestion for improvement would be to offer more healthy meal choices for children. As for vegetarian options, there is a good selection for vegetarians, vegans, and those needing gluten-free meals. We dined in.

Genuinely flawless food, utterly exceptional. Whatever they pay that chef is not enough. Even has a brilliant selection of vegetarian options, not the usual swap meat for something else style menu lots of places seem to offer but instead menu options that are crafted with no need of a meat to create a complete dish. Lovely chill atmosphere. Lass running the bar was everything you could want from a host, without being overbearing. Will be coming back, that 's for sure. Vegetarian options: Amazing vegetarian options, far beyond the usual meat replacement options most places seem to offer.

I had a fantastic dinner from start to finish. The staff were attentive and greeted us as soon as we walked in. We were seated at a lovely table by the window, offering a nice view of Charlestown, and our order was taken promptly. We started with a sharing platter of broth, which was an excellent value at £6.50, featuring a generous selection of broth along with some olives. It could easily be shared among three or four people. For the main course, the food was delicious with generous portions. We decided to share a dessert since we were quite full, but it was outstanding and truly unbeatable. The atmosphere, the service, and the entire venue were exceptional.
