Wonderful setting and atmosphere, very friendly staff, the food and cocktails were AMAZING! Recommend it very highly.

We absolutely adored this restaurant! The atmosphere was fantastic, the drinks were scrumptious, and the music was delightful. We will definitely be returning!

The cocktails are fab but the service is beyond poor... the bartenders were great but the bar is very poorly staffed leading to them being overwhelmed with the volume of customers. Its all bar service but you could be left waiting over 15mins from ordering to receiving your drink which isn't great for the price. Ver carta

I absolutely loved this place! It has a warm atmosphere and beautiful cherry blossom tree on the way in. We had some cocktails with friends over there and we really liked the drinks. Bao buns and bar bites were delicious as well! The building is very cool, it is a perfect spot for a date night! The team was good and very attentive. I am looking forward to coming back soon.

The bar did not make any effort to reserve my table. I had booked for a group of 14 for a birthday and when we arrived (10 minutes early), we where told they had got busy and there was no table available. Despite having explicitly booked a table for this very reason. No effort was made to resolve the situation and we had to leave and find somewhere else to spend the evening.

My boyfriend and I walked into town for our reservation, only to be informed that the menu was changing and there was no food available for the month of January, only cocktails. I was able to book a dinner reservation through OpenTable, so we were understandably disappointed. The staff were somewhat apologetic, but it was still very inconvenient for us. We had difficulty finding another place to eat on a Saturday at such short notice, and OpenTable also wouldn't allow me to make another reservation since I already had a "booking." Ver carta

We had a table booked for 9 people for cocktails and food on Saturday the 9th December for a Christmas outing when we arrived there was no table reserved for our group of 9 we were also told there was no food option in Bonsai the manager told me they stopped doing food in September and they have on their instagram/website and open table that there is no food option which is incorrect as I showed the manager their instagram and open table page where it showed I was 'dining ' and the email confirmation said 'see menu ' to say we were disappointed was an understatement the 'manager ' didn 't care, it took over 20minutes of queuing each time at the bar to get a drink there was zero urgency by th...

Booked for New Years Experience. Arrived and were shown to our seats. 45 minutes later, we were offered a drinks menu. We let them know we came for the New years Experience menu, which looked great, A mix cocktails small plates and prosecco for the New year toast! The cocktail maker was very overwhelmed with orders, and our drink didn't arrive for another 30 mins after that. The head waiter came and told us he would put our food order through. I don’t ever write reviews, however our experience was so terrible I felt like this message needed to be shared. We made a booking for 10 people, but when we arrived we were told to that we can stand at a table for 3 people while we wait for seats to open. I asked “what’s the point in making a booking, if you don’t get a table?” And the barman said that we reserve an area to stand. ? I have no idea why anyone would subject themselves to doing this.
