"Recently a function (Hen Do! visited bread and cheese, and they could no longer be accommodating and helpful! Really was a wonderful evening, we had a whole area for us, good music with a fabulous singer, we were well supervised by Jack who served us and arranged drinks and food. I wanted to thank the cook especially for arranging so many food-friendly foods for everyone, especially for me, as I am gluten-free, the cook took the time to explain all the food I could eat and make sure there was no cross-contamination and everything was kept separate and safe for me! Everyone had a wonderful evening and we cannot thank the staff enough! Very recommended!"

Nice pub. Immersed to see the singer (Nicola Collins) in the garden, but wow loved the place. Good food, decent drink. Can recommend Inches cider. Will deffo is back.

We attended a wake at the pub on Tuesday 16th August. All I can say is absolutely fantastic staff and incredible buffet. Thank you everyone for making our dear relative's wake a beautiful experience

We love coming here at the end of a walk. Very convenient location. Some friendly staff and food is good! Some issues with staff drinks knowledge and we find the menu expensive. But. It's good-we go fairly regularly

For a Sunday roast on Father's Day and enjoyed it. The service was excellent and the food delicious (no frozen or microwave garbage). The interior is beautifully decorated and immaculately clean. Head and shoulders over other pubs in the area.

Father's Day menu, Roast was stupendous. Would recommend. Go only for the two meat roasts option if you have bought your appetite, as the 1/2 chicken 2 and 3 roast beef, boiled for perfection, are exactly that. Live music on Sunday was very good and not intrusive.

Nice decor here. We ordered from the new menu which was a little pricey. I chose the beef ciabatta, the filling was tasty but the ciabatta was a bit dry. I had the cheesecake for dessert which was delicious. The service was excellent, our waitress Tabitha was delightful!

3 of us girls visited early December for lunch. It was quiet, letting us chat freely. Lovely young lady answered any questions about the menu (sorry can't remember your name 3 weeks on), and attentive enough. Pleasant food but a pricey menu, so would visit again but as a treat.

Lovely little pub. Went around 3pm. Drinks nice and cheap! Food was delicious. Fish and chips best I’ve had in a pub in a while fish had some bones but I take that as fresh fish not frozen. My friend had the burger and was stunning. The chips are beautiful. Staff are lovely. Mostly left us alone which I prefer rather than staff constantly bothering you. Will definitely be coming back!!

Has changed owners several times in the last few years the current ones are the best by far. Went in yesterday for midweek lunch and was impressed. Has a very good selection of food on the menu, prices are a bit on the pricey side but quality was very good. I had a classic burger which was very nice and my wife who is a vegan had a noodle type stir fry which she said was great (put pictures up of both) Desserts very good too !
