Went for a work Christmas dinner. One of the best I have ever had. Everything cooked beautifully even though we were a large party. Thank you for the food and atmosphere

Visited the pub for lunch today and it was a great experience. The food was delicious and the service was great. Really nice place to go especially with the lovely garden, I would highly recommend!

Feared the worst as they seemed very understaffed for what was a busy evening but the food was very good and despite a bit of a Q to get drinks, had no complaints. Have to compliment the 2/3 staff serving who were working their socks off! Ver carta

We ordered a Ham eggs and chips and Steak and Ale pie .Both soon arrived the pie came with cabbage with carrots and ham eggs with a salad ,.The chips were only warm and the cabbage was not cut up big pieces .Other than that the meal was ok ,

We ordered a Steak and Ale pie £15 and a Milanese Chicken Breast £14 , both soon arrived . Quite large portions for both , nicely cooked and tasty . For a sweet my wife had a Vanilla Cheese cake with cream £4.95 , again very nice . Well worth a visit as the menu is large with most things to suit , Pies ,burgers ,Curries etc .

The food at this restaurant was fantastic, and everyone in my group agreed. One of our appetizers didn't arrive, but the staff handled it gracefully and removed it from our bill without any problems. The service was friendly and the wait time for our food was just right. Despite a small issue with the fireplace, the staff managed it skillfully and with a smile. Overall, we couldn't ask for more. What has happened!!!! Not the best evening. Food was ok atmosphere was none existent. For a Saturday evening a week before Xmas it should have been buzzing! Very quiet there but the service was still slow. Toilets need a major overhaul as does the whole building. My last issue was the lack of Arkles Ales no 3Bs again! This was our second visit here in a matter of months and there was no 3B’s then either. The brewery is only a 10 minute drive away, come on Arkles this pub in Wanborough needs some help.!!! Not sure we will visit again for sometime if at all . Does anyone care anymore though?

My niece reserved a private event room at the Brewers Arms in Wanborough for my sister's 50th birthday. The room comfortably accommodated about 30 people, with separate tables in our own space. We placed our meal orders in advance, and everything was served promptly and accurately. The food selection was extensive and delicious. Some of us also ordered desserts, which were equally enjoyable. The pub even arranged for a birthday cake to be brought out, which was a perfect touch. I highly recommend this venue for small private events; it felt like having our own exclusive restaurant. Thank you, Brewers Arms.

We were not sure what to expect it looked like an old pub from the outside plenty of tables outside and no real indication as to the entrance there was a front door and a side door so with trepidation we entered the front door (I suppose that would have been logical). Once inside it was massive and most tables were full (it was 7pm on a Saturday). All nicely spaced, it was warm and comfortable looking and we we were shown to our seats. A couple of beers ordered and then what to have questions asked and answered honestly about portion size (i couldnt work out whether to have chips) and honest and accurate in the answer.
