Very lovely and jolly team, good food and we made the most of the #britstop and stayed in the car park overnight in our motorhome. Thank you.

We haven't been for years! Visited on Sat 8th June, excellent food, real homemade. Great barman, think he was the landlord. Great atmosphere, lovey deco and very clean. Would highly recommend we will be back.

Like many reviews on here, it seems people either love it or loathe it. We were the latter. The food was average and the landlord less than that. Rude and dismissive when we made a suggestion about the food. Won’t return and I wouldn’t recommend. Ver carta

Called in for lunch, not been there before, driven past many times. Very plesent welcome from the landlord, good range of beer and lager . Meals came quickly and were exactly what we expected. We will be back, this is a good pub with a good car park

We were a group of 10 ranging from 7 yrs to 80 yrs. Food was absolutely amazing and very well accommodating for my grandson who has a severe dairy allergy. A lot of food options for him that you don't get anywhere else. Very friendly staff and landlord Highly recommend Thanks guys

Lovely evening last night at this lovely pub! Manager very politely moved us to a quieter table without us even asking, which was thoughtful, we had steak and liver and bacon, both were lovely! Beer was well kept too! Nice to see a lovely fun pub back up and running! Long may it continue! Ver carta

A very amusing welcome from a friendly land lord with a wickedly dry sense of humour. The carvery, wow! Beautiful meat, wonderful al dente veg and homemade Yorkies. You do have to wait your turn. Who doesn't like to avoid a queue. Everything is as freshly cooked as possible. Would 100% recommend.

F A B U L O U S. Have been to the Brewers many times now, if I am visiting friends in Leavenheath. (I live in Greece) Their Sunday Lunch is wonderful and 1st Sunday in the month had roast Lamb on the menu. Both the beef and Lamb were to die for. Beautifully cooked. As for their Apple Pie..... well... should receive a Nobel Prize for desserts. Can't wait until I am in the UK again and can visit the Brewers in Hadleiigh. The staff are lovely, attentive and excellent service.

Camping at Polstead and this pub is min walk ish away. Popped in for a pint and G&T and went back the next day for lunch. The staff and service is lovely. Food was fabulous. Hubbys best ever mixed grill. Vegan and vegetarian selection as well. I had the butternut squash tart. Play area for kids, they also had a bouncey castle. Sanitizer everywhere. They also have rooms which I can't vouch for, based on the over all presence of the pub I would imagine are just as nice.If passing that way again definately would make a stop here. Ver carta
