"Arrived to an empty cafe should have been a warning) sat down and ordered to then be told that they are an cash only if you know what I mean had to order then run up the road to the cash point On returning asked to use the toilets to wash my hands was told that the toilets were all out of order had to run back up the road to the shopping centre to find they weren’t open returned to the cafe to find the food on the table getting cold it didn’t look to clever either) Told them I now didn’t want it and was met with silence and intimidation Was then told if I need the toilet to use the cafe around the corner So that’s what we did begrudgingly paid for nothing to safe a argument and left We went to the cafe around the corner excellent coffee and service"

We visited today for a light meal at lunchtime , and as usual with this establishment we were Not disappointed. Excellent food cooked to order for both of us . The Proprietor was His usual friendly and helpful self too

Re visited this little cafe f a late Breakfast . As usual good quality food cooked to order , with friendly management and staff . A cheap and cheerful cafe that does good food and generous portions . Well recommended for a quick “bite to eat”

I came with some friends at the end of December, and the bar was very busy. We chatted with Darcey, who was extremely friendly and welcoming. They recommended the best drinks and provided excellent service. I will definitely be returning in the new year!

A Breakfast visit , as we were this end of town . I chose one of their set breakfasts and my partner choose a toasted tea cake with butter . Both dishes were cooked to order , and we did not have to wait very long for our food . The proprietor and His cook were friendly and made us welcome A recommended place to eat

My parents and I have been eating here for almost fifteen years and it hasn't disappointed any of us yet. I've long since moved but my parents love this establishment and its friendly staff who know them by name and welcome them warmly each time. Inexpensive and the food is wonderful! Thank you for all your years of great service!

I visited the pub today on my trip to bischof stortford I did not visit this city in a very long time, but I visited this beautiful building and was told all about the history of the bar staff niamh. for a young woman she knows a lot about the history of the city and pubs. that eating was fantastic and very good value thanks to a great experience
