The lasagne was smothered in cheddar and tasted strongly of beef stock cubes the pasta overcooked. Shame because in the past the food has been nice, the macaroni cheese was sloppy and again smothered in cheddar, the service was very friendly Food: 2 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

As soon as we walked in, there was the WOW factor. Warm friendly hosts the food was amazing. The sweet sour chicken (Hong Kong style was the best Mum I have EVER tasted (and at 78 53 that's some going! . Definitely recommend 100% and look forward to coming back again. Mediocre Dining. Partners Roast was good but other dishes on the Menu need a bit of attention. Ploughman's was really poor. No Cheese or Onions. 4 walnut halves and a bit of Ham with a few leaves. Presentation was really poor. Dish should not have been advertised as Ploughman's. Onions may have been in the Side Salad but normally Onions would be of the Pickled variety. Had a really lovely lunch here. Staff were very helpful and courteous. The food was freshly prepared and very tasty. I would recommend booking in advance though. We also booked into one of the lodges for the night, and they were spotless, spacious and very comfortable. Ross, one of the family who own the Bull Inn, was a fantastic host and made our stay a pleasurable one. Would definitely recommend it and will be back. Price per person: £20–30

We had an amazing discovery on our way back from Tenterden when we found The Bull Inn. The staff were lovely from the moment we walked in, and we were escorted to our table in the restaurant. We felt very welcome and took our time choosing from the menu. I ordered the 'Clucking Big One' and my mum had the 'Veggie burger' since we both wanted a chips night. We were not disappointed at all...except for the fact that I couldn't finish my meal! The food was delicious, the atmosphere was lovely, and we left with full bellies. Thank you, The Bull Inn!
