I cannot recommend The Butcher’s Arms highly enough. I have some food intolerances and Jo-Anne and Mark were incredibly helpful and created some amazing dishes for me. Great old world pub great atmosphere well worth a visit when your in the area. Good menue large portions what ever you choose. So mutch so 4 of us could not manage a sweet after starter of bread and dips of garlic and olive oil and one of oil and balsamic vinigar then main course great value. Staff could not be more helpful. Having stopped doing date night meals with my wife, we concluded that date lunches would be easier. The Butchers Arms was our first date lunch and worked splendidly. Lovely food and excellent service, no long waits and a great atmosphere. Not much for a strict vegetarian, but I eat fish and occasional bits of meat, so all went well. Wheelchair accessibility: I called beforehand and explained that I'm a wheelchair user, they were very helpful and moved us to a table that was easier to get to.
