"Wow!!! What a fantastic place this is. We had a wonderful warm welcome on our arrival and although we were early we were seated right away. The staff are really friendly and attentive and there's a lovely atmosphere. The menu has a good selection and we opted for the Sri Lankan curry and the seafood spaghetti and both were gorgeous! There's a bar area too which was packed and that's always a good sign. The desserts were equally good. The owner and her team deserve praise for running such a lovely place. Well worth a visit. PS. Ignore the link to the menu on their website as this seems out of date and is totally different to the actual menu,"

"meal was lovely, starter of Stornoway black pudding, poached eggs hollandaise sauce was amazing. only let down was when we ordered bread butter for two, only 2 x small halves of bread a pot of butter easy delivered!! we returned it, then when we got the bill it came with only 2 mints- there was four of us? really, not a big deal on the grand scheme of things but you let the side down there unfortunately. the little things mean a lot ????however I would recommend you give this place a try, food is lovely ????"

"we were looking forward to eating here as it was my man birthday, but what a catastrophe it was. the starter of the Haggis balls was cold in the middle, the cullen skink was more like an aqueous potato soup. the main thing is where everything went...wrong, and in that was a total sweat. my man ordered a burger who was really for the price was disappointing, nothing special ever. I ordered a fischburger, but instead fish and chips came out. we advise that this was not what we had ordered, and they took it back and simply brought out the same platelet, but with the same massive fish thrown in a tiny roll! as embarrassing and brushing out. we also joked when they took the plate back that they would do that and they actually beat only a massive big fish in a tiny roll. I wish I had made photos for the komödie factor! so a shame that eating this place has settled. we did not stay after and they did not calculate my main meal."

"My sister, BIL, and I came here one night for dinner, thinking it would be your standard hotel/pub food selection. Walking to our table, we eyed delicious looking fish and chips, steak pies, etc. My BIL and I ordered the haggis neeps and tatties. My sister was debating between two items and asked our server for his opinion (I can 't remember his name but he was a delight) and his face lit up and said Oh definitely get the pork ribs, they 're my favorite. I had my reservations, having had my fair share of bbq growing up in the US and not really thinking bbq to be a Scottish specialty, but she ordered it and omg, dear reader, these were the best bbq pork ribs ever! Fall off the bone tender, tangy and sticky bbq sauce... y 'all are missing out if you don 't order them. Whoever is in charge of making them deserves a raise. The other do not miss out menu item is the onion rings! My stars, they are gianormus, fried to crunchy, salty perfection, made with real, whole rings of onion (not processed chopped tiny bits) and the perfect amount of tasty batter. My mouth is watering just thinking about them. This is not to say the haggis neeps tatties that my BIL I had was not good it was delicious and the whisky sauce that came with it was devine. We all were just blown away by those ribs. The staff were all friendly and attentive. Don 't miss out on this place and don 't miss out on those pork ribs!"
