"One can easily reach the restaurant from downtown by taxi (too far out to walk). Walking in, you immediately catch the nice and friendly atmosphere. As the weather was perfect we could sit outside. After some bread and a very tasty apéritif, we both had seafood - a lobster from the regular menu and a grilled dorado from the barbecue. Unfortunately there was no space left for the deserts, but they looked as good as the main course tasted!Summary: The atmosphere, the food, the drinks - it was just excellent.PS: if you are fan of rum, you are in the right place. We did not try any, but the list of different brands was extremely long."

Traditional Caribbean cooking in Germany. Wide menu to suit all tastes outside and inside. Service a tad slow but food and drink certainly worth a visit.

Since this restaurant asks upscale prices you should be able to expect upscale service. Not so. The service was slow, 3 out of 6 meals were cooled down and...

Have visited the embassy several times, and it is always excellent food, great service and general great atmosphere. Have tried so much of their menu and have yet to try anything that was not on a high standard

Yes the restaurant is a little out of the way but it is worth the journey. We got a warm welcome and all the staff were great. The decor is excellent and there is also a nice outside area if the weather is good.We had a buffet and all the food was fantastic, a great taste if the Caribbean.Really enjoyed it.

We expected more for the pricing. Bearing in mind that they offered a wide range of cocktails and with a name of Caribbean Embassy we expected a Rum Punch on the menu which was not but the staff knew the recipe and created one. Soup contained a bit much curry and the lobster was a bit on the dry side. The filet was also on the tough side Ver carta

We had dinner with friends. The food was good, although a bit salty. Service was ok at best. Recommended the most expensive wine on the menu, which already was a bit iffy, but followed by avoiding us when we complained about one of the dishes. Afterwards came an anawkward 'Caribbean show' which simply did not go with the planned posh atmosphere. All in all we were not convinced.

Well, the location is not central, not in biz area, not in party area BUT they managed to create a nice atmosphere. The menus are tablet-based, the hostess a very lively caribbean woman, the service is very polite and able to give recommendations. Wine selection very god and food very caribbean. If you want to close the night with some Rum, an expert will come to your table and give you information on the variety of drinks. Very well done. Something different

"Indian restaurants are becoming almost as ubiquitous in Munich as Italian restaurants lately, or so it would seem. So why did I give this one get 5 stars? In part because Yelp doesn't allow for half star ratings and I didn't feel right giving four after my wonderful dinner experience there and the excellent meals my guy has had there before me. Kamasutra is close to his work and we had dinner here after him and work friends raved about this place for lunch. They've only been open for about three months but it's a regular lunch stop for them now. One thing I noticed early on, they do not take shortcuts. Great care is put into food and service. The menu is varied, good selection of wine and cocktails too. Service was friendly and attentive from start to finish. The interior is more modern and sleek than most Indian resto's. But what about the FOOD? We were in curry heaven. I had a jumbo shrimp curry and he had a chicken vindaloo. Sauces for both were rich, had complex, nuanced flavors and were not greasy or oily. And when they say spicy, they mean spicy, so for those of you lamenting the lack of proper spice level, make your way here NOW. If you don't want your curry toned down for the German palate, do have some here. Lovely garlic naan, very generous serving of good basmati. Delicious mango cream for dessert and real chai that wasn't syrupy sweet. Kamasutra is a real gem and a welcome addition to Munich."
