Good casual/ pub food, enjoyed fish and chips, and mac n cheese, dog friendly staff were great! Great easy evening not too busy

Great deals available mid-week for meals, with two dishes for $13.99. The staff was friendly and the service was excellent. I will definitely return.

Absolutely rotten toilets either had no seat or toilet roll and blocked food was inedible nice place to sit and have a drink staff friendly as long as you don't need the toilet or want to eat you will be fine x Ver carta

I recently went to this restaurant for dinner for the first time in a year after moving back to the area. It's a fantastic pub with plenty of seating, and the food and drinks are delicious and reasonably priced. The staff are always friendly. I highly recommend this place to anyone in the area. It's truly underrated.

My three friends and I go once a month to The Carrick and we have never been disappointed, either with the meals, or with the bar staff. Always good hot meals which are really well priced and different menus to look at, The bar staff are so friendly and helpful to us, we are all over 70, and it is always a pleasure to spend the afternoon there.

2 families decided to get together and eat here for an early fathers day dinner. On arrival we were told they could not accommodate us as there was only 1 person working in the kitchen. 8 of us then standing outside wondering where else could we go ? We did end up in wetherspoons which was lot busier than the Carrick with no lengthy wait on food. How much custom is being lost because of this staffing issue?? Very disappointed. Won't be back incase I'm turned away again ! Ver carta

The staff in the carrick are lovely ……. But the manager in the other hand is very rude and short and seems like she can’t be bothered to serve customers. Making passing comments that can be heard waiting in line around other customers. Was told we ‘ weren’t going to be accommodated ‘ even though the restaurant was dead no wonder and we had already booked the table. It’s mostly a friendly atmosphere when the manager isn’t glaring and making passing comments. I think this restaurant has great potential it has lovely food but is slightly let down by the customer service experience………

We came here for my birthday dinner and had booked a table. Everything was perfect, we paid for dinner in cash and then went back up to order some drinks two more times, also paid in cash. We had a discount but when we tried to buy more food and drinks, we were informed that we could only pay with a card, not cash. In addition, we received the wrong food and had to go back to exchange it, which turned into a whole problem. They said they had refunded it to my account, even though I hadn't given them back my card yet. It took about 20 minutes at the bar to sort this out, all because I just wanted to swap nachos for tacos! The start of the evening was great, but unfortunately ended with us lea...

My husband and I popped in to the Carrick yesterday for dinner. I had the scampi and my husband had the fish. Service was quick and the serving staff were very efficient, pleasant and helpful. For the sake of clarity I am an irregular customer and only pop in occasionally. Dinner was served quickly and it was fresh and tasty. My scampi had about 8/11 pieces and it was accompanied by garden peas and chips both of which I enjoyed. My husband’s fish was large and cooked to perfection. He always picks the fish as it is consistently good. Prices are reasonable for what you get. It is neither cheap nor expensive.
