The Castell Mynach - Carta

The atmosphere is pleasant, the food is delicious, and the service is great. I would definitely come back again.

Disappointed with the interior, looked tired, dirty carpet. Pub food, which wasn't very good, at restaurant prices.

Called in today to try again after bad service years ago & was disappointed again, the paint work around our table was very dirty & needs a good clean, Ver carta

Having recently moved back into the area, I wanted to reacquaint myself with a few eating places, having visitors stay the last thing I wanted to do was

very strange mood from waiting staff. was it because I had a child with me? who knows, it seems that my being was inconvenient there. if they don't want children in their pub. do not provide high chairs a children's menu.

I made a reservation for my family for a special occasion three days in advance using OpenTable. However, the restaurant called me to inform that they were unable to honor the booking because they had double-booked and blamed OpenTable for the error. I'm not sure who is at fault, but I will definitely reconsider using either the restaurant or OpenTable in the future. Just a warning for others to proceed with caution. Ver carta

The meal was served cold and the portions were small, making it quite expensive for what we received. My filet steak, priced at £25, was tasty but disappointingly small and cold. My daughter opted for a burger and chips from the adult menu, which cost £13.50, but it was more like a child-sized portion. Overall, it was not a great experience for my daughter's birthday, and I do not plan on returning to this restaurant.

I went for lunch in this pub for my birthday with three of my friends. We were not in any hurry and had a very enjoyable meal. There only appeared to be two members of staff serving and in a very busy restaurant and serving at the bar they did an excellent job . As we were not in any hurry it suited us and to be fair the two people serving did very well. I have been to this pub on quite a few occasions and always enjoyed the food

After booking a table at the Castell Mynach On Christmas Eve for lunch via Open Table, we were told on our arrival that they did not receive the booking!!! I had booked the table for a specific time as we had plans later on. However there was no table available!!! I was extremely disappointed as it was Christmas Eve and I had planned a nice family meal. I was left with two hungry children and I couldn’t get a table anywhere else nearby without waiting a considerable time. I showed the staff at the Castell Mynach my booking confirmation but they emphasised that they definitely did not receive it. Clearly this needs to be looked into as the Open Table booking system does not work. As a result... Ver carta
