We booked a table for our visit to Warwick as it was really busy during a previous visit. We had to change the time of our meal, and they were only too happy to take Gorgeous cod and chips with muddy peas, and homemade tartaric acid. You can't beat this place. Also have some craft beers and wine

We were disappointed unfortunately the chips were luck warm and very chewie. I think they had been kept warm since lunch. As a very large party came in just after us I requested some fresh chips and they were excellent. I will try again in the future but when ordering ask for a freshly cooked food.

We were here with 5 friends, so we booked over. The food is delicious freshly cooked fish with the best crispy dough. I ate them with the curry sauce! Really good value at £10.50 for fish, chips, one side and bread butter. For a small place they have a good selection of beer and apple wine and the housewife is ok. Look forward to having dinner there again when you are close.

I went to this restaurant with 5 friends and we made a reservation in advance. The food was delicious, with freshly cooked fish that had the best crunchy batter. The chunky chips were also delicious, especially when paired with the curry sauce. It was a great value at £10.50 for fish, chips, a side, and bread with butter. Despite being a small place, they had a good selection of beers and ciders. The service was good. I am looking forward to eating there again when I am in the area.

Excellent special LIGHT battery on request. Great fresh tasting fish (for me) and crispy chips. All four of us have agreed the best chippie around. Loses a star - at least - for surprise messages at the end of the meal that they do not take cards. Even if you always travel with your handy card reader to credit a new online recipient, you would have stymied. Nobody knew the chip Shed's Banking details. Come with Chip Shed. No warning on the website. No warning to flyers. You can do better.

The restaurant offers an excellent special with a light batter upon request. The fish (I had plaice) was fresh and tasty, and the chips were crispy and chunky. All four of us agreed that it was the best fish and chip shop in the area. However, we were disappointed to discover at the end of the meal that they do not accept cards. This was not mentioned on their website or flyers, and even if you typically carry a card reader for online payments, you would not have been able to use it. Chip Shed, please provide better communication about your payment options.
