The pub meal was excellent, with a delightful atmosphere, delicious food, and attentive service.

Booked for an outdoor table as it was a lovely day. We weren’t disappointed, great food, drinks , service and friendly staff

Good roast dinner with my 3 boys on Father’s Day. A bit pricey at £35 for the set menu for 2 courses but kind of expected given the day.

this is such a beautiful, special old pub in a fantastic environment at the river. it has everything: intentional, brilliant eating, nice friendly staff with super efficient service and very clean and well organized, without too vain coivid wise. can come back high enough!

We had friends visiting from the Midlands and took them to our favourite pub on the Strand on the Green end of the Thames! Great menu and lovely staff. Never had a bad meal or experience. Beautiful interiors and a few premium tables next to the river for outdoor weather. On this occasion had a Sunday roast but the fish and chips aren't to be missed! Best in W4!

I had a really great time here during my first visit in the UK. The ambience is really wonderful. I had to try the fish and chips after seeing other people try them. It was really tasty! To top it all off I was given wonderful company and service by the lovely server Marlena. Who was very charming and attentive. She gave me lots of great recommendations to go see and was very knowledgeable of the local area.

Great food, great wine and great service and a fun experience all round. Perfect location great to pop into for a coffee as it is by the river and is dog friendly for all you dog walkers. Never had a bad experience. The Sunday roast is perfection but the burgers are still my favourite. The manager is super friendly and welcoming. Great outdoor spaces great for summer. My go to for a good night out. Well done 5 STARS

Me and my husband love the riverside pubs lined here and make it a point to be here as often as we can. City Barge has loads of seating on the riverside as well as at the main road. The service is a little slow but staff is very courteous. I have eaten quite a few Sunday Roasts in London but by far, City Barge has the best Yorkshire puddings! I want to go there again just to have the best fluffy and light-as-air Yorkshire puddings!

Pubs that only take payment by card should have this writ LARGE on their door and on their menus! Why wait until it comes to time to pay the bill to say I 'm sorry, we only take payment by card ? Well I 'm sorry, I only make payment by cash. I understand the benefits of only taking card payments but they should make this clear before they take orders otherwise it leads to an embarrassing experience at the end of an otherwise pleasant afternoon. For this sole reason I will never return and I will never recommend.
