It is a pretty tea place in Chester and the place is family run friendly cafe. Freshly baked homemade scone.

A lovely warm welcome with a great menu choice. Food was fresh, hot and tasty. Will definitely return when we next visit Chester.

Our first visit to Chester and we came upon this little gem .Delicious scones with clotted cream and jam .very friendly and efficient staff .

Called in a for coffe and cake earlier this week. Very friendly staff, efficient service very relaxed, Great cakes. would definitely call again.

Had the small English breakfast, quick service and everything hot. Staff very pleasant and friendly. Lovely, traditional decor. Would definitely visit again.

We had a nice trip to Chester which is a lovely city very individual and British. The four of us popped in for a quick drink and a cream scone. Very enjoyable a great service and price.

Lunch today, food was excellent, and reasonably priced. Friendly efficient service and very tasteful surroundings. We will be back. Recommend the Welsh rarebit, served with salad and delicious home made coleslaw.

Positives: nice decor and friendly staff. Scottish breakfast tasted nice. Negatives. No kids menu so ordered beans and cheese on toast and just beans on toast for a 9 and 3 year old. Arrived as one slice of toast and half a can of beans each with one slice of cheese on one. Both cost the same even though we asked for a kids portion. So for £17.90 we got 2 slices of bread, a tin of beans and one cheese slice. Bizarre price tag for what you got you would expect a decent main meal in a restaurant for that. However nice experience, just possible needs price review on some of the menu items and possible a kids version.

My twin brother Stephen and I were wandering around the wonderful area around Bridge Street and on a chilly Thursday morning decided to drop into Coffee Mill and what a great find . Walking in and I knew I would enjoy my visit here,a light and airy interior, great decor and furnishings and plenty of seating options spread throughout this cafe,a cool place to unwind in. We ordered a cappuccino coffee each and a custard cake,coffee was served pipping hot and custard cakes served cold ,just perfect ,we just kicked back,chilled out and took in the great cafe we were in.
