The food at this restaurant is wonderful, especially the breakfast. The staff is welcoming and friendly.

It's all too rare I find a café serving steak kidney pudding these days but this place does. A large pudding, with creamy mash, peas, baby carrots, gravy washed down with a pot of tea for What's not to like?

I had an issue with ordering from Just Eat, but when I informed the restaurant, they personally delivered my order and prepared it again! Their customer service is top-notch, and it's the best place to go for a delicious fry up. I highly recommend it.

i have had a couple of takeaways from here and they have both been very nice indeed. i would say you need to make sure you have your ketchup or sauce to hand to make it just as you want it though. only thing is...that the bacon they use is plain awful. I don't know if they don't cook it long enough or it is cheap bacon but it is chewy, stretchy and not very nice at all. Ver carta

Ordered to our hotel last Friday. Our order included a large vegetarian breakfast with extra sides and a cheese panini. Because of the location of the hotel our network was awful and apparently the driver had tried calling us numerous times. Then we received a...call from the cafe to explain the driver was waiting downstairs with our order. This shows such patience and professionalism by the driver and cafe for persevering with something that is no fault of there own. The driver was extremely friendly and we apologised. Gorgeous Food Amazing Service We came to southend-on-sea for a holiday and was looking for a place to have brunch. We came across the this cafe and decided to go here. My husband ordered a breakfast in a yorkshire pudding with diced potatoes and i...had a prawn baguette. My dad had breakfast and my mom a sausage sandwich. They all really enjoyed it and said that it was not greesy at all. I was happy with my fresh crusty baguette it was ever so tasty. The cafe was very clean and the staff very friendly they also checked if we needed condiments. The tea is also served in Crockery teapots and lattes are served in a tall glass. Waited for an hour for my just eat order. Rang cafe and was told they made the order and driver did not collect. It turned out the driver had marked it as collected and then delivered which was not the case. The lady over the...phone apologised for just eat's error and promised to re cook and deliver the food themselves by which is exactly what happened. The owner himself delivered the food and was very apologetic too and explained he would of phoned me to inform me of the error but just eat do not give out customer phone numbers anymore. The food itself was delicious and pipping hot! The owner also threw in a free muffin and kit kat as a an apology which was a lovely gesture considering it... Ver carta
