Unhelpful staff, more interested in their own conversation than paying attention to the customer. But if this doesn't bother you then give it a try

Just had afternoon tea here for my friends baby shower it was amazing so much food so much variety, the staff were very friendly and helpful, we want to try the breakfast next!

My fiancée and I went in for a take away lunch. The food was really nice, the place was clean and tidy and the service was great too, they even held the door open for me on my way out. Ver carta

Eating in or out.. very wide choice of salads, quiches, sandwiches, baguettes; hot or cold... extremely good value. May get into the habit of a mid-morning cooked breakfast (9.30 start currently).. looks like the best value around.

I regularly pass this small cafe which is close to my home so after doing some shopping I decided to try their breakfast. It even has a car park a real plus in my opinion. The inside is clean has lots of light and super friendly staff.

I recently returned from a weekend getaway in Carlisle and stayed at the Corner House. I was warmly welcomed, enjoyed the comfortable rooms and beds, and loved the delicious breakfast. I will definitely be staying there again in the future. Ver carta

We had a wonderful experience at this restaurant. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and our afternoon tea was promptly delivered at 11:30 as requested. The atmosphere was quiet and pleasant. We were offered a selection of sandwiches, followed by a variety of cakes and scones. The staff were attentive and provided excellent customer service throughout our meal. The large teapot was a great touch.

Friend had wedding buffet at a cost if 800 pounds the quality was very poor and certainly not enough food to cater for 150 people wet quiche and sandwiches to cover no more than 80 people. The bride had ti get her friend to go to her local.premises to bring more food for guest .stay clear unless your just wanting cup of tea and cakes in there cafe as for a function unless you want your guest to be disappointed stay clear .

The Corner House is a delightful small cafe that easily accommodates gluten-free dietary needs as a family member has celiac disease. We decided to have afternoon tea, which was quite affordable at £9.95 per person. My gluten-free version was served separately from my husband's regular one, and included a diverse assortment of sandwiches, a homemade cream scone, and two homemade cakes. This cafe may be simple, but it offers very high-quality homemade food. Ver carta
