The Crab at Bournemouth

dear seafood very. unexpected greeting Thai-style suppe to begin, super tasty. the first time tried to snuggle with Thai curry sauce, so it felt fresh and tasty.

Had the Fruit De Mare platter for two. Everything was cooked well and tasted delicious. Staff were very tentative and ambience with the piano music was nice too. One star off as pretty pricey but nice to treat yourself sometimes.

beautiful atmosphere, they love playing the piano in the background! eating was excellent, worth money considering what it is. quality is impeccable. service was great. the whole crawling dish is the way to the court if they ever take part. amazing. Ver carta

the staff was very friendly and attentive. the atmosphere was very peaceful and happy. the food was very well presented and delicious. the reason for a 4 star instead of 5 was because of the waiting time for our eating because of a mistake they made. but very good overall.

came to the restaurant with my girlfriend and had a nice experience. we ordered a crab to share, a starter moule with some brot. nice amount of eat to us ready for vacation beach mode! the price was not bad: £57 for two people. will recommend to people who want fresh seafood!

We visited The Crab, which was not probably the best idea when I suffer with shellfish allergy, however the staff were amazingly helpful and supportive. enabling myself and friend to enjoy their cuisine. First time to this restaurant for a wedding anniversary and it did not disappoint. The atmosphere was lovely the staff all welcoming and attentive. The seafood was so fresh and we indulged in the hot seafood platter which was a good array of seafood. It was a Saturday evening and we had the absolute pleasure of listening to their very talented pianist. He was amazing and this added to a superb atmosphere. Overall this restaurant is a seafood must.

Came to The Crab for our last meal of our short Bournemouth trip. The service and food were excellent and could not be faulted. We had the crab soup to start, which was exquisitely flavoured with spice, prawn, scallops and mussels . Then I had the crab of the day with Thermidor sauce and my better half had the fillet of hake on a prawn risotto. All food was well presented and provided great value. We accompanied the food with a glass of the savi B and Chardonnay. Lovely evening of tasty fish within an ambient setting with great service at a valued price.

Food was great, service was so disappointing. Melissa was our waitress and we asked her questions but she didn't know much about our food or what flavour milkshakes were available. She kept having to go away and ask and come back. She was very polite and well mannered though. Our menu also had a small set meal menu slipped in, which was only for hotel guests. The manager rudely came over and asked us where we got the menus from, we told them from inside the menus he gave to us. He told us we couldn't order from it and walked away. The menus shouldn't have been given to us on the first place! Such a shame for the terrible service because the food was delicious. Ver carta
