"The food was amazing the service was really good very nice to be properly served your meal the old fashioned way! The sweet trolley was wonderful! My only gripe is that we were packed in like sardines we were there on a Sunday lunchtime and it was very busy. We had a table for two which was bordering on uncomfortably close to another big table. Would have liked a little bit more room especially as it was very warm even with the air conditioning, but overall a lovely meal."

We have been frequenting this restaurant for 26 years and have consistently enjoyed the food and service each time. It's always amazing. During our most recent visit, there was a group of 6 seated close to us, but it was understandable.

The food and service were excellent. I was happy to see that even though we had reserved a table for six people and one had to cancel last minute, as well as two of the remaining five arrived almost half an hour late, it did not cause any issues.

The food is served hot and staff are polite. The vegetable choice was limited and speaking to the serving staff, they said they couldn't offer an alternative. Speaking to a manager, she very helpfully did provide an alternative and very promptly too.

We booked a table for 8 people to celebrate a birthday and we all enjoyed the attentive service and excellent food. As it was mid-week, there was a special set menu some of us chose from, and some chose from the main menu. Everything was served in a timely manner and tasted amazing.
