What a lovely venue and setting, the pub is situated in a lovely location, the setting is spacious with a lovely outside dining area, the food isn’t bad either… would definitely recommend.

Love this almost near local pub. Been coming here for years. Has become a bit of a lunchtime venue for Londoners searching for country pubs. Good for children as play area our front on green which, is not part of the pub. Well kept beers Ver carta

Four adults, two children.. a challenging combination at Saturday lunchtime. The food was delicious, the service first class, the ambience amazing. Everyone, even the children, enjoyed the experience immensely. Even though I'm from Ireland I will make a point of returning on my next visit to the area.

The food was a highlight, particularly the cheese soufflé, which was absolutely delightful. However, the service left much to be desired, as it felt rushed and inattentive. The atmosphere was decent but not particularly memorable. Overall, while the food was impressive, the service could use significant improvement.

I can't say I was particularly impressed by the food from the menu, likely due to the season. The escargot were lacking in flavor and firmness, and the garlic butter was more oily than buttery, with an abundance of herbs but very little garlic punch. The gammon steak was excessively salty, while the chips were just okay. On the bright side, my partner enjoyed her mezze. The coffee was good, and the selection of beers was decent. The service was very friendly, and the location and the building itself were beautiful. Additionally, there was some lively dancing with a live DJ, which helped offset the disappointing meal. Perhaps our experience was not as good as that of our friends who dine here... Ver carta
