The Crook - Carta

Great wee bar in Bridge of Allan, popped in for lunch and was impressed by the quality of the tapas served, lovely and tasty. Great service polite and very friendly. Would not hesitate to pop back in sometime.

Welcoming and friendly service at this lovely wee tapas bar. Everything about it was excellent, from the delicious food to the drinks and music choice. Too many favourites to mention, we'll be back soon to try the rest of the menu!

Visited this bar/bistro yesterday with our nephew and family. First class service and food excellent. Well worth a visit. I am a picky eater but I could eat lots on the menu. We will definitely revisit here. Would recommend Crooks to all. Ver carta

Lovely Tapas restaurant. Friendly staff. Reasonable prices. Visited early evening. Disappointed that two dishes we would have chosen were off due to having busy lunchtime(happens). Very light on garlic for prawn dish, hence only Would certainly recommend and definitely go back.

We had brilliant family Birthday Sunday Tapas lunch yesterday. There was an excellent chose of dishes on the menu and the food served was first class. Management and staff were very attentive and made time to talk to us. It was our first time here...and we will definitely be back. We highly recommend the Crook.

Gorgeous food. Spanish Tapas style food which was absolutely delicious. Staff and owner so welcoming and very accommodating. My youngest daughter couldn’t go but they were more than happy to provide us with a carry out which we picked up the following day, freshly cooked....Lovely atmosphere inside. Really great food and quick service. We were slightly put off though, after having booked a table the week before, being told immediately as we sat down that we needed to leave by a certain time. We also asked to move to another table (instead of bar stools) and were told they were all booked, however there were at least three empty tables the whole time we were there.

We dropped in here for a late lunch. The Tapas menu made for flexible dining. We especially enjoyed the meatball and prawn dishes. The Mushrooms and sweetcorn were also great. There was a selection of wines..or beer. We were also very pleased to find it...was dog friendly...including dog water and a biscuit. We will definitely return when we can (just passing through this time)

We were really looking forward to this, but a few things about our meal were disappointing. My daughter and I are both vegetarian, and there wasn’t a large choice of vegetarian dishes, and two of our choices weren’t available. The bread and olives came with...a tiny amount of olive oil and balsamic dip, which was finished really quickly, I had to twice ask for more and was given the same small amount each time) and I felt I couldn’t ask a third time! The sundried tomatoes with the bread and olives were the dry packed kind which need to be reconstituted if they’re not being cooked, so they were like chewy rubber, I’m not sure if this was a mistake, and should’ve been oil packed ones?
