The Crooked House - Carta

This location is fantastic for all kinds of events, including weddings and parties. We had a wonderful time during our visit from Hythe, Kent. The owner is very polite and hospitable - everyone should definitely make a point to visit.

The restaurant greeted us warmly, served amazing food, and had a great selection of well-maintained beers. I can't recommend this place enough. 10 out of 10. The chef takes pride in quality, and it shows in every aspect of the restaurant.

The staff is delightful. The restaurant is located at the end of a long road, so be cautious while driving on it since it's the only way in and out. There is limited parking available. However, the food is delicious! This pub is quite unique and definitely worth a visit.

This was my second visit to this restaurant and it still feels surreal walking through the front door, as if you've had one too many drinks. You really have to experience it in person to fully appreciate it, as photos don't do it justice. Walking in a straight line is almost impossible... lol.

We had a great lunchtime pint and cob in a lovely, warm traditional pub. The higgledy-piggledy nature of the building added to the charm. What was even better on a cold day was that our dog could sit inside with us. The staff were really friendly and everyone there was having a good time. Would recommend! Ver carta

Went for a nice couple of drinks this afternoon with the family. Father in law was happy to see it returning to the type of pub it has been known for. The landlady had a good chat with us all and asked for feedback on what it was like. Our 2 year old loved it there and just wanted to say hi to everyone. Be going alot more now.

The restaurant is in a stunning location and is an iconic pub. Although we hadn't visited in a few years, we happened to pass by today and decided to stop in. The staff were incredibly friendly and the atmosphere was quirky and charming. It's a lovely old pub with loads of character. We hope it continues to thrive. Highly recommend!

So sad to find the pub closed, we decided to pop over for bank holiday drinks with my elderly in laws both in their 80s who have fond memories of the pub from their younger days. They were so looking forward to it, We didn't check the Internet arrived to find the barrier down so couldn't even get near to the pub to have a nosey.. I really hope it's not closed down forever Ver carta
