Lovely meal in a great surrounding. The owner looked after us and others very well, nothing was too much trouble.

Dinner was delicious but we were left with empty plates for 45mins Finally called them over and ordered dessert but the service was not good at all

What a charming pub in the countryside! The warm welcome, excellent service, and delicious food made our visit truly enjoyable. We will definitely be returning!

I enjoyed my meal quite a bit, but it could have been served at a hotter temperature and could have used more seasoning. Overall, it was a pleasant dining experience.

spur of the moment, booked on Saturday over open table for sunday roast, very nice pub never before, but will certainly return . great Sunday carvery followed by beautiful puddings all for a reasonable price.

Good carvery plenty of choice. Puddings were forgotten......half an hour wait for a chocolate fudge cake and a crumble while every table around you get their food is really annoying! No apology was really poor. The hundreds of good reviews for The Crown are clearly deserved but maybe they are a victim of their own success as there weren't enough staff who knew what was going on working on a very busy Sunday lunch.

I booked on line but when we arrived there was a large bike party so very crowed !! They had not booking for us but that was no trouble cleaned up a table and explained what was going on in the pub and why it was so busy so we ate Sunday roast which was good . We would return as when paying the bill a lovely member of staff asked if everything had been ok and asked if we had been before she then went and got evening menu so we could take them away to read at our leisure and she hoped that it had not been too crowed . Good attentive service .

I was recommended to visit this restaurant by friends, so I made a reservation as a Mother's Day gift. The hosts were very friendly and made us feel welcome. However, upon sitting down, we were informed that many items on the menu were unavailable due to being out of stock, which was unfortunate because they were quite busy. As a result, we ended up ordering burgers, but they were overcooked and dry, and the onion rings were greasy and lacking in flavor. The staff mentioned that they were overwhelmed due to the crowd. I might consider returning on a quieter day to see if the food quality improves.
