"We went for a family Sunday lunch and as the dining area is quite small we had pre-booked a table for 5. There was a choice of meats, two of us chose lamb and two chose beef. I am vegetarian and was supplied with my own individual delicious cauliflower and cheese instead of the meat. We all assumed that the plates would come with just the meat, Yorkshires and roasts but no, they came with those but also large roasted parsnips and two dishes of boiled potatoes, roast potato squares, cauliflower cheese, gravy and other veg. so many varieties that I cannot remember it all! All extremely well cooked and presented, we tried very hard but were unable to finish all the veg and this was boxed up for us as well as a box of deserts which again, we could not manage to eat. Service at the bar and from the chef was friendly and we felt as if we were among friends. Highly recommend a visit! My one regret? We were so busy being wowied that we forgot to take photos of it all."

"We booked having seen numerous “dog friendly” reviews where infact this restaurant does not allow dogs inside. We were stopped on the stairs and offered seating outside on the river that was not very inviting or a room in what appeared to be under the stairs. Shame as we had heard good things. NOTE the last dog friendly review or otherwise was in 2021 so not sure if the situation had changed since. Obviously it is a restaurant’s prerogative to not accept dogs but it would be good to provide this information as we had travelled from Cornwall and were unable to find anywhere else of interest in the town."

"I had a fantastic meal tonight at this restaurant. I ordered the Steak and Ale Pie and was pleasantly surprised by the generous amount of meat in it. My daughter loved her chicken goujons, which were a perfect size portion for a child. The food was impeccable and the staff were very friendly. I highly recommend this pub, especially for their great Monday deal."

"I 've been to this pub several times since it has got new ownership and each time I have left severely disappointed. I have given it a fair try each time but rude staff, refusal to serve you unless you are a regular who are allowed to stay for lock ins whilst everyone else is turfed out before the pub closes and charging on entry for live music for a local pub is obscene. The attitude of staff when even just asking for water was appalling, and needs a severe shake up. Cant comment on the food, but with wetherspoons down the road I doubt many are eating there anyways. Won 't be going back anytime soon."

"the vegan options available here are clear and deliberately part of the menu reviews, not only a reflection (as in, not only a non-vegan meal with meat and milk that leaves a completely unsatisfactory result). the service was brilliant, like all the meals we had (me man and I had lunch, dinner and brunch the next day). the owner was clearly proud of the available options, but asked us our opinion about them, and what else would we like to see on the menu. what can they require more than a device that likes to receive feedback and improve where possible?"

"However, not all restaurants use powders and artificial colorings in their dishes. Pundits Fusion in Upton-Upon-Severn is one such restaurant that prides itself on using fresh ingredients and seasonings in their cooking. I have been a fan of Pundits Fusion for over 10 years, as the owner, Sultan, knows how to take care of his customers and make everyone feel welcome. When I recently visited Pundits Fusion with some friends, we were greeted warmly by Sultan and treated to a delicious meal. We started with fish kebabs made with knife fish imported from Bangladesh and flavorful lamb samosas. For our main course, we enjoyed a variety of dishes including king prawn dansak, lamb rogan josh, mixed mishty, and tandoori chicken. The food was excellent, and we could see why Pundits Fusion has such a loyal following in the community. Sultan and his team have created a restaurant that goes beyond just serving food - it is a place where friends gather to enjoy delicious meals and good company. We left with full bellies and happy hearts, grateful for the wonderful experience at Pundits Fusion."

"Travelling past and decided to stop for Sunday lunch. As we had not booked in advance. There was some worry from the bar staff that kitchen capacity would not be able to fit us in for at least 30 mins. We initially decided that we would finish our drinks and go somewhere else as we had a 3 hour drive ahead of us to return home. However, on my second sip of my pint (a very nice Butty Bach) a waitress popped over and said they can fit us in. We were asked if we would like to go through to the restaurant area. We actually asked if we could stay where we where, as I had, dare I say a very comfy seat in the corner. This was not a problem and the waitress quickly brought cutlery to us. Orders taken. We awaited our food. I had a starter. The Glouscester old spot pork belly. Very nice it was as well. The mains arrived. Beef for the wife and lamb for myself. This I will make the first criticism of the meal. The waitress asked how would we like the meat cooked. Medium rare for the beef an medium for the lamb. Now I will admit, from what we asked for it was quite overcooked. But as it looked like it came from a joint, 2 big slices each. I can't but wonder how the kitchen can truly cook to order. Meat still lovely but just a wonder. Veg very nicely cooked (parsnips really nice) and all was well until the Yorkshire pudding. Which is my second criticism. Nothing wrong with it. But my Mother in Law is from deepest darkest Yorkshire and just in case she reads this, they were no where near as good as hers! Overall a very nice meal and really glad we decided to stop. All the staff were friendly and welcoming and attentive, without being in your face. If we ever happen to be in that neck of the woods again. We would definitely pop in again."

"Hands down, this was the worst meal I have ever had. I ordered the special fried rice and it was clearly reheated in the microwave, resulting in a greasy mess of rice with tough, dry meat that looked like dog treats. It's unbelievable that a restaurant can stay in business serving food like this. The service, atmosphere, and food all received a rating of 1. The price per person was between £10-£20 for dinner."

"Although I don't drink coffee myself, my partner raved about the fantastic mocha they had at this restaurant. Additionally, I was pleasantly surprised to be offered water right away, a gesture I have only encountered while traveling abroad. It was a really nice touch that added to the overall dining experience."

"We used to visit the Manor Arms regularly at least twice per week for meals and drinks up to two years ago. Unfortunately, a series of incompetent managers and poor service made it a chore, so we stopped but thought, as it was under new management, we would try it again for Sunday lunch. Although the meal was ok, IMHO the prices are far too high for the quality when compared to competitors such as the Dew Drop at Broadheath et al. The selection of vegetables was sparse and personally I found the cauliflower cheese pretty awful. Additionally, the faint smell of cigarette smoke from outside was a little off-putting! Staff could be a little less formal and perhaps communicate more as we felt as though we were just numbers rather than customers who you might wish would return. The Manor has great potential as a country pub, and there is scope for it to be one of the best in the area. We would love to return as regulars once more, but perhaps not at the moment."

"Just there for a meal only. Sadly it was very disappointing and I would not recommend based on our experience. Food drinks: The pub is very traditional and the furnishings are a little tired. We chose it because it was dog friendly and had reasonable/good reviews. But sadly the food we both ordered the special (braised beef with mushrooms and brandy gravy and bubble and squeak) was not good at all. The dish was a good sized portion with a generous plate of veg each but sadly the beef was not as described it was supposed to be slow braised but was quite tough and not falling apart as expected. No taste of brandy at all, quite peppery and too much salt in the gravy . But the worst part was the fat which had not rendered down and so had to try to cut the meat off the fat. Very offputting and was left with c40% fat on my plate at the end. The bubble and squeak was quite underwhelming and tasteless . Very disappointing I mentioned this but the waitress just said she’d tell the chef and came back with the card machine for payment. We are not local so won’t be returning but based on this meal, I would not recommend at all. Service: 3 Location: 3"

"we just returned from a short break in lenchford inn. from the moment we arrived, the staff were friendly and helpful. the room was clean with everything we needed, and a balcony with magnificent view over the river severn. the food was delicious and I highly recommend the homemade salmon table cake and my man said that the gammon was so tender that he hardly needed to chew! after our meal we went through the well-stocked bar, where workers and guests joined together to make a wonderful atmosphere. the break was a gift to me, but we both said that we would return in the future definitiw. childcare mary mick."

"My wife and I have three children and get out to dinner about three times per year. So when we go out a good experience is so important for us. The food at the Boathouse is really good. Perfectly cooked dishes using lovely ingredients and just the right amount of food per racion. Other features that really made our night were: We had a really excellent waitress, she was attentive but not pushy and we felt like she really cared about her job. She knew about the food too. Boathouse have spread out their tables upstairs so that you aren’t packed in and can have an intimate dining experience, not feeling squeezed up against other couples. So it almost feels like private dining. We have eaten Tapas all over the country and have only eaten better food once in a very expensive place in Fulham, London. Go to Boathouse, you won’t regret it. We will be back to the more informal downstairs cafe with our children very soon."

"My partner and I had our Valentine's Day dinner at this restaurant, and we were extremely impressed with the quality of the food and the great value for the price. We were pleasantly surprised at how affordable it was, considering the high quality of the food. The staff were very attentive, and the chef even came out after our meal to check on our satisfaction. We have dined here before, but it had been a while. We will definitely be returning more frequently in the future."

"Ordered through the just eat app, food arrived on time, however it was missing items and was stone cold. Reported this via the app and was told to contact the restaurant, the restaurant told us not their problem they served sub standard food and forgot to send the items we ordered. So we are left out of pocket and wasted our money with absolutely no resolution offered. We chose this over local companies as it’s always been top class service, however when the chips are down….or not included in your delivery nobody wants to take ownership. Lost customers after tonight and for every bad service word of mouth reviews are the quickest way to lose customers"

"We made a table reservation for wife's birthday. When we got there we couldn't find a table with our name plaque, it was a few minutes before we were approached and directed to the next free table. It was not reserved, was not very clean, no candle, no salt. It would be nice to come to a nicely prepped table especially that we booked it for special occasion. It was our first visit it would be beneficial to receive some sort of instruction from the staff who sat us down, as to if order by the bar or if we will be served, so we had to find out ourselves. The food was tasty and good, delivered promptly.The garden is fantastic. Staff kind and was working hard. The only problem was the garden is not fenced off and adjacent to the car park, so we had our hands full having to watch after out boy rather than relax in our seats..."

"I wish I could give a million stars. our high-time day was not perfect. an absolutely beautiful team of men and sue is overwhelming. I find it really hard to put in words how grateful I am and how perfect our day was. eating was absolutely excellent. great that our guests had a choice and every single cure was raised. I have also tasted the eating of my manne so that I can confidently say that eating was consistently excellent. our master of the ceremonies was wonderful and assured that the day was running smoothly. the dj, arranged by the venue, was incredible! damian has put me every one and was such a nice guy. all agreed he was brilliant. sue was so quiet and organized that I felt calmer. she's a great lady. each aspekt des tags was perfect to the last detail. I honestly can't mistake it, can't think of a single thing that could have been done better. so many people told us and our parents that it was the best time they ever were. so much love for all involved, especially sue for all their hard work. I am so stunned by everything and cannot recommend this place enough for a high time. thank you to them all, with love by mr mrs. de-la-Hay xxx"
